Great price but most of the reviews state it isnt consistant speeds and has frequent drops.

I wonder if this is portable as long as you have an oulet for power?
I had this from its inception, originally it wasn't too bad-as time went on the signal got worse and buffered like nuts, 3 TV's a pc and phone. I finally gave up after 7 months and terrible to non-existent customer service. The price is definitely tempting, btw, their newer modem was worst than their first, I had a pc fan underneath to cool it down, no difference.
If true it's a no brainer. I have the service. You can expect 100mbs-300mbs. Down time nonexistent.

Just got shipping notice....looks like I am getting the KVD21 gateway... hopefully that's good. Appears to be better than the older Nokia.
Huh. Interesting. Are they not shipping the same device for everyone? I think I remember an earlier poster saying they are getting sagemcom.

T-Force on Twitter is $35 assisted fee. Is it correct?
The terms say there could be a assisted fee but so far no one on this thread has been charged for it. All have been waived. Is up to you if you want to try your luck with a different customer rep.

Isnt the max autopay discount $40 (i.e. 8 lines)?

If your family plan has 8 lines or more and have the auto pay discount, would adding the tmobile internet also be eligible for an additional $5 off, even though you maxed the autopay discount?
If you are maxed out at $40 already there is no additional $5 Autopay discount for this promo.

super annoying that current TMHI customers don't quality. Canceling now and getting COX for a few months and hopefully they will still have the promotion in 3 months for me to re-enroll.
FYI, I was in the same boat - I already have home internet.

What you can do, and what I am doing....add a second home internet for $25 per month while keeping the other line. Keep oth lines for 90 days and on day 91 cancel the $50 line. According to the TMobile reps I've spoken to, you need to keep both lines for 90 days,

The new line is supposed to be eligible for a $100 gift card, so the gift card pays for some of the extra expense.

Have you double/triple check that after 90 and cancelling the first tmhi would still for this promo?

Mine shipped too, but I can't tell which one.
If you go to your account online, under the "My Account" menu on the upper right there is an Account Activity option. Select that and it will show your account history and you should see the Gateway Model that was ordered there.

Confusing myself here…The 64 device limit….that doesn't apply if you use your own router for wifi correct? If I use my nest wifi, the T-Mobile device limit wouldn't apply right?
All modems, router, switches on their specs specify the max amount of devices they can handle and to meet the peak performance. T-mobile is not actually limiting how many devices you connect to their service, it is just what the manufacturer of the gateway advertised that their gateway can handle. Some devices might say that they can handle 64 connections but they let you connect more than that, it just that the performance of the network will decrease. Others just don't accept more.

And yes, you can connect your own router to one of the ethernet ports and let it handle additional devices.

T-mobile right now has 3 different gateway models and which one you get is kind of a lottery.

Based on the pattern I have seen on this thread people who ordered online are getting the Arkadian one (KVD one). People who went in-Store have been getting the Sage one. Haven't seen anyone getting the Nokia one.

Thanks for this. I really appreciate it. Do you know which of the 3 is the newest/better gateway? Maybe when ordering, I can see if the rep can select a specific gateway. Thanks again.
