Great price but most of the reviews state it isnt consistant speeds and has frequent drops.

I wonder if this is portable as long as you have an oulet for power?
I had this from its inception, originally it wasn't too bad-as time went on the signal got worse and buffered like nuts, 3 TV's a pc and phone. I finally gave up after 7 months and terrible to non-existent customer service. The price is definitely tempting, btw, their newer modem was worst than their first, I had a pc fan underneath to cool it down, no difference.
If true it's a no brainer. I have the service. You can expect 100mbs-300mbs. Down time nonexistent.

Huh. Interesting. Are they not shipping the same device for everyone? I think I remember an earlier poster saying they are getting sagemcom.
T-mobile right now has 3 different gateway models and which one you get is kind of a lottery.

Based on the pattern I have seen on this thread people who ordered online are getting the Arkadian one (KVD one). People who went in-Store have been getting the Sage one. Haven't seen anyone getting the Nokia one.

Amazon sells outside, water sealed lockboxes. With a transparent cover. Was thinking about getting one of these as it's cheaper than buying a external antenna. And you don't void any warranty by opening it. The only factors you have to worry about is putting it in a place that it will not get vandalized and you might want to put a fan in there as well. I also am going to run a cable to my Orbi mesh Ap.
So if I disable the Wi-Fi on the gateway and put the Netgear ORBI in the AP mode, it should be the same SSID as it was before on the ORBI. Is my assumption right??

The terms say there could be a assisted fee but so far no one on this thread has been charged for it. All have been waived. Is up to you if you want to try your luck with a different customer rep.
I checked with another person on Twitter. I have existing family plan with phone lines and adding new internet connection will be considered as upgrade and will charge $35. That is what they said. Twitter is normally better service. Couple of weeks back I called Tmobile and added Watch to one of my free line and they completely messed up my plan. Then Tforce fixed all the mess. I have simple choice and scared to change anything as I spent so much time to fix. On Twitter they are repeatedly saying $35 fee. How can it be different for different people

Sorry to bother. I have the same phone plan with insider. I was waiting for more people with a similar plan before signing up.

Getting the internet plan did not affect your One Plan or insider discount, correct? Thanks.
I have 8 lines on ONE PLUS PROMO. I added TMHI yesterday And already see the $25 promo. You will not loose any discounts that you have before. One thing to keep in mind is the auto pay max out at 8 lines/$40. I didn't get the $5 auto pay and monthly rate would be $30 instead of $25.

Do you use the new line that was created to submit the rebate or do you use the account primary line to get the $100

Great. Thanks! Trying to protect my One Plan as long as possible. This new line would put me right at 8 lines so I'll just be maxing out with auto pay.

If you go to your account online, under the "My Account" menu on the upper right there is an Account Activity option. Select that and it will show your account history and you should see the Gateway Model that was ordered there.

Good question. I like to know too. First thing it asks is the phone number. Primary line. Or the home internet phone number?

Have you double/triple check that after 90 and cancelling the first tmhi would still for this promo?
Some reps on twitter said you need to keep both lines. If you cancel one, no matter how long, you still lose the promotion….so I am getting confused

Where do you see the $25 promo? Yesterday morning I added TMHI. Account activity now shows:

Yup been reading both answers. My Facebook rep said any lines canceled will drop the promo.

Since MMax customers already get a $20 discount for adding the Internet service., So for Magenta Max customers, this is really a $5/mth saving correct?

Also, what are the real world speeds with the T-Mobile Internet service?
