Great price but most of the reviews state it isnt consistant speeds and has frequent drops.

I wonder if this is portable as long as you have an oulet for power?
I had this from its inception, originally it wasn't too bad-as time went on the signal got worse and buffered like nuts, 3 TV's a pc and phone. I finally gave up after 7 months and terrible to non-existent customer service. The price is definitely tempting, btw, their newer modem was worst than their first, I had a pc fan underneath to cool it down, no difference.
If true it's a no brainer. I have the service. You can expect 100mbs-300mbs. Down time nonexistent.

Can I signup online? Anyone who signed on Tmobile website did get this charge?
Someone posted that a customer service told them you could sign up yourself online and that even though it doesn't show the promo when ordering online that it will be added automatically. You could try that route and then ask T-Force to check if your account got the promo applied. And no, if you do it yourself online there will be no $35 fee.

I have Insider Discount. But, now I have gotten 2 T-force reps giving different answers regarding qualifying for this promo. One says YES. The other NO.

I know others have signed up with insider. I just have to play the rep game until I get a competent one. Sigh.

Pretty sure my promotion is jacked up. When I ordered at 12:30 cst, my monthly price was actually showing $20.

My account after 40 hours only has the $5 promo, and when I look at the history, it shows I ordered the HSI on 12/7…. At 10:30 pacific time.
Same here!I signed up at 12:30 .It was showing $20/month.Now it shows $50/month after $5 auto pay discount.I did not make a screen shot ,thought that their were going to send me a confirmation, but they never did sent anything showing the monthly price I saw during sign up.
The promotion shown was 2022 HINTP18.Hoping this will change once the device is activated.

Checked a different address and found it was available. Thought I'd check this deal a little later. T-Mobile called me. The US based rep set everything up over the phone. Said I'd be able to get the promo and the gift card. Took my card number. Looks like it's getting shipped out soon.

Will have to see if the promo applies when it shows up and gets activated. Hoping it works out this time since gaming won't be a factor there.

super annoying that current TMHI customers don't quality. Canceling now and getting COX for a few months and hopefully they will still have the promotion in 3 months for me to re-enroll.
Try going into a T-Mobile store. If the rep is knowledgeable, they should be able to apply it. I got the $25 deal on an additional line of T-Mobile Home Internet even though I already have an existing line for it at $45 per month with auto-pay.

Maybe it helped that I was getting an additional home internet device (which I needed anyway), but others in this thread have mentioned that they got the $25 deal applied to their one and only TMHI line of service. Give it a shot.

I get 150 down 30 up on my 5G (S21) phone where I live. Should I expect the internet service to be about the same?

How does home internet speed compared to mobile speed. I tested my speed with mobile phone only getting 80/mb. Will the home internet be the same.? Just to be sure before jumping in the deal.

So if I disable the Wi-Fi on the gateway and put the Netgear ORBI in the AP mode, it should be the same SSID as it was before on the ORBI. Is my assumption right??
Yes, I did not get a chance to disable the wireless access point on the gateway yet. all I did was plug my netgear mesh Orbi RBR 50 and it has been working perfectly lot of cameras- Smart home devices connected.

Had AT&T DSL before, so this is an upgrade. By my window, I've been getting 300 to 400 download and over 100 on upload. I do notice my speeds decrease during busy times of the day, but it's still night and day over AT&T. Signal has not dropped either. I've seen 500 when I had my window open that's why I'm probably planning to get A waterproof box, my only dilemma is I live in Florida heat could be an issue. I will have to put a fan in.

Really depends how far you are away from a 5G Tower Good luck.
