Great price but most of the reviews state it isnt consistant speeds and has frequent drops.

I wonder if this is portable as long as you have an oulet for power?
I had this from its inception, originally it wasn't too bad-as time went on the signal got worse and buffered like nuts, 3 TV's a pc and phone. I finally gave up after 7 months and terrible to non-existent customer service. The price is definitely tempting, btw, their newer modem was worst than their first, I had a pc fan underneath to cool it down, no difference.
If true it's a no brainer. I have the service. You can expect 100mbs-300mbs. Down time nonexistent.

How does home internet speed compared to mobile speed. I tested my speed with mobile phone only getting 80/mb. Will the home internet be the same.? Just to be sure before jumping in the deal.
Yup.....but probably faster due to larger antennas

Does anyone notice that Home Internet Phone number is Primary Account Holder now when you login to T mobile?

Yeah same thing happened to me and even restricted me from doing anything to my account. Worked with a rep and said it will be resolved in 24 hours. We shall see.

With every promotion, you have less than 50% chance of the reps getting it right. If you can get the New Mexico folks, they will correct what the offshore folks mess up. On mine, took 3 calls to show the proper promo...

To the best of my knowledge it is not mobile. There are large, permanently installed antenae.
AFAIK it is not (i.e. fixed address only since they do not want it eating into their hotspot/cell plans which are priced higher).

Yes, I did not get a chance to disable the wireless access point on the gateway yet. all I did was plug my netgear mesh Orbi RBR 50 and it has been working perfectly lot of cameras- Smart home devices connected.

Had AT&T DSL before, so this is an upgrade. By my window, I've been getting 300 to 400 download and over 100 on upload. I do notice my speeds decrease during busy times of the day, but it's still night and day over AT&T. Single has not dropped either. I've seen 500 when I had my window open that's why I'm probably planning to get A waterproof box, my only dilemma is I live in Florida heat could be an issue. I will have to put a fan in.

Really depends how far you are away from a 5G Tower Good luck.
Thanks for the details. I might also try to connect to my NETGEAR ORBI MESH and see, if my purpose is met. In that case, I will be having 2 SSID's, if I don't disable the WIFI on the gateway.

Not always. It's lower priority and they don't have as good a signal as most phones. In a lot of cases it's slower than speed tests on phones.

This service is meant for two main types of customers. Rural where DSL might be the only wired option, or light users who don't game and are sick of the cable company charging more and more for no good reason.

They've finally succeeded in using the spectrum that nobody ever thought would work for home internet and it's highly entertaining to see the other monopolies get a little bit annoyed.

If it works for you, that's cool. If it doesn't, send the router back and let someone else in your area have a turn who might benefit more from it.

In most cases if you have a close price on wired service, it's usually a better choice.

I get 150 down 30 up on my 5G (S21) phone where I live. Should I expect the internet service to be about the same?
According to the following link, it can range from 33 to 182 Mbps. That would not work for me. I currently have 1Gig speed (600 - 800 mbps real world) with Xfinity with 1.2Tb Data cap and paying $60/mth.
