Great price but most of the reviews state it isnt consistant speeds and has frequent drops.

I wonder if this is portable as long as you have an oulet for power?
I had this from its inception, originally it wasn't too bad-as time went on the signal got worse and buffered like nuts, 3 TV's a pc and phone. I finally gave up after 7 months and terrible to non-existent customer service. The price is definitely tempting, btw, their newer modem was worst than their first, I had a pc fan underneath to cool it down, no difference.
If true it's a no brainer. I have the service. You can expect 100mbs-300mbs. Down time nonexistent.

Which phone number do we use to apply for the $100 card. New Home internet number or existing voice number?
I asked T-Force and they didn't know. My guess today they have the offshore team and not the real T-Force working. They recommended using the Home Internet phone number.

When I do it myself it says it'll be 35.00/month with the code P18…….?
That is the Magenta Max promo, not the P22 one which is the $25 one. Definitely go to a store, or call, or chat, or do T-Force on twitter if you want the $25 promo.

I called T-Mobile and need to upgrade my plan to Magneta Max. No thanks.
Whoever helped you is confusing it with promo 2022 HINT P18 which requires Magenta Max.

If you are a current T-Mobile Customer with a plan that has a Voice line your definitely qualify for the $25 Promo. You want to point out that your are looking to take advantage of 2022 HINT P22 promo.

I strongly advise either reaching out to T-Force on twitter https://twitter.com/TMobileHelp

Or go to a Corporate T-Mobile store. On the wiki page there are links to the promotion and the terms of the promotion and also screenshots which you can show to whoever is helping you. In the terms clearly does not limit the promotion to Magenta Max and clearly says your don't need a new voice line if you already have it.

There are also plenty of people here that have activated the promo on Simple Choice and T-Mobile One, etc.

Good luck.

I used the TMHI line number and later in the form it asks the T-Mobile number where the promo card will be sent out and I gave my primary phone numbers there. I got a text msg as below to the primary number listed in the form
T-Mobile: Thank you for your submission to the 2022 HINT P10 Promotion. We will review your submission and verify your eligibility. General processing time is 6 – 8 weeks. To track status, go to t-mo.co/rebate using tracking ID ABCD-1234-XXXX

I ended doing the same as you. On the first page I used the Home Internet line number. Then used my primiary line T-Mobile ID and password to login. Then on the drop down menu and selected again the Home Internet Line number. On the final step where it asks for the address and phone number I used my phone number like you did.

I have 2 lines on the One plan and 5G home internet (which is great). I messaged TMobileHelp on twitter and they said I could add another line to my current address and get the promo price, but when I asked if I could cancel my current 5G home internet line and keep the promo pricing on the new one, they said, "I'm sorry that won't be possible." Sounds like others are being told different information. It's really frustrating that I can't get the discount or a straight answer.

They sent the Arcadian one. It was definitely a refurbished unit with a few minor blemishes and the power cord was untied with the tie wrap loose inside the box. Not that I care as long as it works fine.

Speed tests attached below, on average I'm getting around 400Mbps downloads and 40Mbps of uploads. Latency is around 40ms.

If my T-mobile accound shows this:

Plan Details
T-Mobile Home Internet$25.00/mo
Applied discounts and promotions:
$5 AutoPay Discount

$25 2022 HINT P22

Does it mean my home internet will be $20 or $25?
Thank you,people!

Just read the Terms of the promo and draw your own conclusions. Others are getting promises that might get broken on the future. That is what I hate about T-Mobile's billing and promo system. There is never clear way to get the promo and every other Rep gives you a different story. It should be as easy as you going online and doing it yourself and clearly having a receipt saying what you got and what promo you got or that same system telling you if you don't qualify. But T-Mobile is always get it and pray it doesn't mess up your accound and that it actually works.

During all these years what I have learned is to always get T-Mobile's promo terms, read it and make a copy of it. Anything on those terms is what actually matters and not what a Rep says. Then when signing up to the promo do it through a way where you can get everything in writting or recorded. In other words T-Force, online chat, or calling. Calling is my last resort as last time I needed to get proof T-Mobile took almost a year to get the call recording and review it, and they never provide it to me.

Good luck again to you, hopefully it works out.

In my case it took around 12 hours for the Home Internet Line with the phone number to show up after the order showed up on the account activity.
Thanks. I'll keep an eye out.

Does anyone have the issue of not being able to use the provided modem/router in bridge mode? What solutions do you guys have for this? I would like to use my own router and be able to port forward, but from my brief research, that's not possible.

When I chatted with T-Force, she told me to use the new Home Internet number for the Rebate Gift Card.

Port forwarding isn't possible. It's kind of complicated.

You can use your own router, but not for that or hosting your own VPN.
