Great price but most of the reviews state it isnt consistant speeds and has frequent drops.

I wonder if this is portable as long as you have an oulet for power?
I had this from its inception, originally it wasn't too bad-as time went on the signal got worse and buffered like nuts, 3 TV's a pc and phone. I finally gave up after 7 months and terrible to non-existent customer service. The price is definitely tempting, btw, their newer modem was worst than their first, I had a pc fan underneath to cool it down, no difference.
If true it's a no brainer. I have the service. You can expect 100mbs-300mbs. Down time nonexistent.

I just spoke to them at the number you mention above, and they specifically checked my phone number and said because it's billed under Sprint, I do not qualify.

Did they run your phone number and determine whether it's billed under Sprint or T-Mobile? If so, are you billed under T-mobile, and that's why you qualify?

I don't understand how you can qualify for the promotion while being billed under Sprint. That's not possible according to multiple Sprint reps I've spoken to.
Its been 2-3 months but best I can recall, was somewhat forced to create a T-Mobile website account - the Sprint website kept redirecting me. I basically re-up'd shortly afterwards by committing to a Samsung flip phone deal they had (technically only committed to the phone for 2 years but the same cancellation fee). I thought all Sprint accts needed to be T-Mobile now?
Also, I think they checked my credit rating and/or past billing history to see if I qualified...I think? The order and details haven't posted yet, but the rep really seem to know his stuff and assured me of the $25 monthly credit towards the $50 charge...time will tell.

If you want flat rate, you have to get the $10 tax inclusive tablet plan, but you need to buy your own equipment

I could not get this deal to work online and didn't want to call a rep, so I headed to the T-Mobile store, received the deal and the gateway, hooked it up, checked out a streaming movie, and everything worked great!
My biggest concern was rumor had it that you could not use it with a VPN. Well, I'm happy to report that my corporate VPN is unaffected, as I am using it right now with no issues. Since all you need for it to work is a wall outlet and a T-Mobile tower, it is also (supposedly) very portable, which solves some of my other issues. Logged into my account and the discount is already reflected. Just thought I'd share my in-store experience.
What plan you're on? Do you have insider? How many lines?

The tmobile app was showing 50/month with a 100gc and no mention of a monthly rebate. Used the chat feature to get a rep. Rep wasn't sure and wanted to see a screenshot of the promo. I also gave her the CNET url. All the sudden she tells me oh yes it's a 25/month rebate promo and is active now. Since I'm not seeing it in my app I just applied for the internet through chat. They just needed my address, email to send a security code, and a credit card. 2 day shipping for $0. No activation fee. Strange how folks here were saying they needed a credit check. I'm on the 55 plus one plan.
I'm on the 55+ plan as well and see the same promo for the $100 gc and $50 a month. Did you get the $100 gc plus the new rate of $25?

Free shipping. Free in store return within 15 days. The unit has 1 yr warranty. Replacement cost after one year is $25 (so keep it in cool in a well ventilated location). $25 for life (as long as T Mo is in business). No other cost added to the $25/month subscription. There is no contract. Price is pro-rated based on your anniversary date at T Mo.

Anyone see the $25 2022 HINT P22 discount at all in your account? I only have $5 autopay discount listed there.
Did it show up the $25off?

The gc needs to be applied though a website once the unit arrives. The website is this.... https://promotions.t-mobile.com

regarding the 25/month lock.... I was quoted this by the rep. nothing on my bill so far. my cc hasn't even been charged. may take a fee days to reflect

I just went by the store and they are letting me try it out for two weeks free of charge since we just got four new iphone 14s. The problem is that we have a three camera outdoor security system, xbox, three computers, and four phones. Is this little box going to cover all these?

At a T-Mobile store now…

Note: if you're a converted Sprint customer who has not been fully transitioned into the T-Mobile billing system, plan for a long-azz conversion, involving ALL your PII, hard credit pull, & providing this info to someone on the phone in Honduras..
Can you describe the process they did in-store to convert you from Sprint billing to T-mobile billing?

Do you get to keep your old Sprint plans, or did you have to convert to new T-mobile plans? I have some phones that are in monthly payment and not paid off yet.

I'd like to keep my existing Sprint plans, because I get Hulu for free. I don't care who bills me, but I don't want to be forced into T-mobile plans so the distinction between billing/plans is important to me.
