Great price but most of the reviews state it isnt consistant speeds and has frequent drops.

I wonder if this is portable as long as you have an oulet for power?

I had this from its inception, originally it wasn't too bad-as time went on the signal got worse and buffered like nuts, 3 TV's a pc and phone. I finally gave up after 7 months and terrible to non-existent customer service. The price is definitely tempting, btw, their newer modem was worst than their first, I had a pc fan underneath to cool it down, no difference.

If true it's a no brainer. I have the service. You can expect 100mbs-300mbs. Down time nonexistent.

I wouldn't believe a T-Mobile "For Life" anything.
I had the free data for life for a tablet and they simple cut off the service without warning.
Me too! T-Mobile disconnected mine too. The tablet was slow and it was only 200MB. So I didn't fight it. I hardly used it anyway. But still sucked that I still have my tablet but yet it's not "for life" it was about 10 years.

When I signed up representative told me that it is $25/Month. Now the line is activated in my account and it shows $50/month. Are you guys seeing similar amount in your account?

It takes time. Let it get shipped you will get a text that promotion is active. For my first account it took around 36 hours for 2nd account less than 24 hours

Found on another site:

Existing T-Mobile Home Internet customers, including those on the Magenta Max bundle, are not eligible for this deal.

This makes me sad. I just signed up for their home internet less than a month ago.
Me too. Just a week before they dropped it too $25.00. I am paying $50.00 I feel scammed.

TY! I *THINK* they actually fixed it. Got a bunch of texts including removing the wrong promo and the application of the correct one. Account now shows the $25 promo (p22) and the $10 one (p10) is no longer on acct. Will see if it passes muster tomorrow. I am testing it now and posting from it. (Modem arrived this afternoon) As I am wfh, this will be a backup for fiber outages (rare so far) and might bring it along when we travel in our RV.
Nice! Glad to hear that. Mine still not showing the promo, kind of getting worried about it as it is strange that it is taking so long. Most here got the promo to show up already. Hopefully on the next T-mobile promo scan my account gets picked up.

Same for me. I haven't gotten the device yet so I'll probably wait to see what happens by Monday and call if it's still not showing up.

Per T-mobile Customer service it will not show the $25 dollar nor the promo if you order online but as long as you order during the promotion period it will automatically get added to your account. User dishguy confirmed that indeed it worked, I included his post below for reference . Alternatively you can call, chat, go to a store, or reach out to T-Force on Twitter or Facebook to get them to place the order for you.

Good luck.

I'm on simple choice. This is what shows in my account

Plan
T-Mobile Home Internet $25.00/mo
Plus taxes and fees

Applied discounts and promotions:
$5 of AutoPay Discount
$25 of 2022 HINT P22

I added it online by myself.

Quote from dishguy :
The plan and discount showed up after the device shipped. I ordered on 12/8. Device shipped 12/10. I got a text that the unit shipped. When I went in my online acct it was showing up. The first sentence of my previous post says what plan I have.

YMMV depending on which customer rep you speak to, I was told the promotion could be further stacked. Upon checking, the rep was comfortable to apply the $20 discount (if your are in eligible wireless plan - in my case Magenta max) - hence mine turned out to be $5 monthly for home internet.

Again, this is only while chatting with the rep, I got to see how much my bill would come up as.

There's a great degree of variability in speed based on where the gateway is placed. I tried at least 3-4 locations and on top of a bookcase about a foot away from a window did the trick to maintain 500 down.
Good for you. My download speed fluctuates a lot and it dropped the WIFI a few time with my Samsung phone. My old pc is also having trouble to connect it wirelessly. shake head

Home Internet Unlimited is not available at your address yet, but Internet Lite might be the right fit for you!

Weird, my address was available since October 2022 based on an email Tmo sent me but the service is not available again?

You've waited patiently, and now it's here! Unlimited T‑Mobile Home Internet is available at your address on ….blah blah blah….

Give our dedicated team a call to order now. But hurry! Our service is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Bah…. Take my money…!!!
