Great price but most of the reviews state it isnt consistant speeds and has frequent drops.

I wonder if this is portable as long as you have an oulet for power?

I had this from its inception, originally it wasn't too bad-as time went on the signal got worse and buffered like nuts, 3 TV's a pc and phone. I finally gave up after 7 months and terrible to non-existent customer service. The price is definitely tempting, btw, their newer modem was worst than their first, I had a pc fan underneath to cool it down, no difference.

If true it's a no brainer. I have the service. You can expect 100mbs-300mbs. Down time nonexistent.

Not tech savvy. But, once turned off how do you turn it back on? Will factory resetting unit remove script and turn Wi-Fi back on?

Does anyone notice that Home Internet Phone number is Primary Account Holder now when you login to T mobile?
Quote from devs23 :
Yeah same thing happened to me and even restricted me from doing anything to my account. Worked with a rep and said it will be resolved in 24 hours. We shall see.
Any update on this?

Noticed that if you leave 2.4 and 5ghz on, speeds are slow on wifi, set it to 5 only and you will see better speeds... (this is only if you are using the wifi from the box.) I saw an increase of 80ish to well over 300...

Option #2 on the script allows you to turn it back on

Tmobile CSR said I am not qualified for the promo being a Sprint customer transfer
Same here. Tried twice in store. Won't work for sprint unless they have already migrated your legacy account to tmobile. If they force migrate you, you couldn't keep your old plan.

They are trying to say it is 25 with the auto pay discount BUT there is a limit of how many lines you can get the discount on. I am waiting on the additional 5 as I told them you can not advertise this as 25/mo when it technically is if you haven't maxed out your discount. FTC and FCC will get complaints for it if they do not change this.

What will happen if we don't turn off the Wi-Fi on the gateway and connect the existing router (NETGEAR ORBI RBR50 with two satellites).
Any problems with that configuration??
Appreciate any help!!!

Still good deal for 30 I guess but Tmobile always makes it so complicated to get the advertised price.

In my case I am maxed out on autopay with $40/ 8 lines, so my monthly rate will be $30

you would be best to wire up the orbi with a wired backhaul vs using it as an wireless extender with a wireless backhaul. https://kb.netgear.com/000051205/...iFi-System

I have the same setup you're discussing and I have had no issues whatsoever.
