Make sure you are signing up for Home Internet Unlimited and NOT Home Internet Lite. Home Internet Lite does not get the promo.
From CNET article: "Those interested in T-Mobile Home Internet can enter their address at the carrier's website to see if it is available in your area. If you have multiple lines on your account, such as a family plan where not everyone still lives together, the carrier confirms to CNET that you could activate multiple T-Mobile Home Internet lines at the discounted $25 promo rate, so long as the addresses are eligible for the Home Internet service."

After earlier telling CNET that multiple lines on an account could sign up for the offer -- such as a family plan where not everyone still lives together -- the carrier said on Wednesday that the deal will be limited to one Home Internet line per account.

Tried to order online, it still says $50 after $5 autopay. Why it is not showing $25?
#############################################################################################################################
Per T-mobile Customer service it will not show the $25 dollar nor the promo if you order online but as long as you order during the promotion period it will automatically get added to your account. User dishguy confirmed that indeed it worked, I included his post below for reference . Alternatively you can call, chat, go to a store, or reach out to T-Force on Twitter or Facebook to get them to place the order for you.
Good luck.

For existing customers, chatGPT provided an alternative solution:

Not sure why this was removed but - FYI -
For those that care;
The modem/router that comes with home internet service has
a built-in GPS receiver and antenna, and sends your GPS location back to T-Mo at regular intervals and presumably they can request it anytime.

I was told I needed to add a new tmobile line or transfer over my existing (sprint lifetime price lock number) to tmobile to get the offer, but would then lose my lifetime price lock with sprint.

Anyhow, just received the T-Mobile 5G gateway tonight, giving a go in the morning.
Thanks OP and for all the posts here for providing helpful info, and Merry Christmas

My normal carrier (Verizon) text messages have been failing inbound and outbound on several occasions since turning the 5g router on.
My wife has experienced this, and our son.
Curious if anyone else who still has their old network up and running and the tmobile router if they have encountered this.
As long as I am on my old network it hasn't failed for texts.

I suspect it has something to do with WiFi Calling not working, and some spots of my house having slightly worse reception.
I'd have to toggle airplane mode off/on in order for my phone to reconnect to 5G, or just turn off WiFi completely and my phone stays connected to 5G fine.

One way to test the service is to use your smartphone with 5G throughout the day and see what kind of speeds you get with TMobile. It's not perfect because you can leave your router by the window and your phone might have better antennas, but it's something.
If in doubt, get the service and if it sucks, just cancel. There are no strings attached but you are out $25.
I opened a second internet line after calling them. The customer service representative mentioned that my ONE plan is eligible, and that I could cancel my first internet line and not lose the promo on the second internet line after 90 days.
Just my 2 cents for those existing customers in the same situation as I am.
Small Business Plans aren't eligible, I spoke to T-Mobile about this today, they denied me the promo. On Magenta Business Plan.

I live in the suburbs of a large metro area, in the middle of three towers, but trees and small foothills block direct line-of-sight to all of them. Two of them are along a freeway, but the Arkadian device, same as my mobile phone, is locking onto the third tower about a mile away. From cellmapper.net, I can see that the cell I'm locked to is pointed towards my direction; not so many houses, but a large road with 3 churches, 2 schools, as well as the car traffic.
So this is not going to be able to replace my Comcast 800/25 Mbps cable Internet anytime soon. That said, will keep it as backup since essentially free for four month assuming the $100 prepaid card shows up - could be handy during winter storm season. And just today, Comcast was doing upgrades to the overhead lines all around the neighborhood, so Internet was down for about 6 hours; so the T-mobile Internet came in handy already today as a backup. After Comcast came back online though, the new overhead cables apparently were overdue, a Speedtest from my router showed 840 Mbps down, previously I guess the old lines were degraded that I'd never seen more than 700 Mbps....
Down in the basement where the router is, the T-mobile speeds are not even as good as upstairs, so about 20-30 Mbps down, but for just a few hour Comcast outage, I'm not going to try to hack an Ethernet drop from upstairs.
Seriously wishing to get a dual-WAN router now to have T-mobile hooked in permanently as a failover Internet connection to Comcast, but the TP-link Deco M9 mesh wi-fi router has been working so seamlessly for us for a few years now...
