Great price but most of the reviews state it isnt consistant speeds and has frequent drops.

I wonder if this is portable as long as you have an oulet for power?

I had this from its inception, originally it wasn't too bad-as time went on the signal got worse and buffered like nuts, 3 TV's a pc and phone. I finally gave up after 7 months and terrible to non-existent customer service. The price is definitely tempting, btw, their newer modem was worst than their first, I had a pc fan underneath to cool it down, no difference.

If true it's a no brainer. I have the service. You can expect 100mbs-300mbs. Down time nonexistent.

is there any taxes and fees if not on Ti acct?
For me in California, my taxes and fees were $1.40, but it probably varies by where you live.

Anyway to get this without Tmobile cell service?
Nope. A postpaid voice line is required to get this deal.

Used it for a year at the time of launch. Nokia gateway had lots of issues with slowdowns and handshaking between bands. Shifted back to Comcast since Comcast tower was being upgraded for a long time. Availed this offer 3 weeks back...arcadyan gateway now. No issues and constant n41 and 450-500 mbps downloads....pings vary a bit. Won't suggest for gaming (fps, fighting) but everything else is a hoot.

I have existing Netgear Orbi mesh router and changed it to AP mode and wired it to T-Mobile router. Problem I am facing is Parental Controls on Orbi does not work in AP mode so I may have to switch it back to Router mode.

What are the benefits to connect existing router in AP mode to T-Mobile router?

I am thinking if we keep existing router in router mode only and just connect it to t-mobile Arcadian router for internet, will it be most seamless way to go?
Yeah, you lose all routing in AP mode, so no parental controls. You can leave the Orbi in router mode, but you may experience some issues. I'd try it and see. The double NAT doesn't affect some people, but for others it causes problems.

Pretty much what I see, but 200 peak and 400+mbps off peak. But the pings I get are steady. I don't game much and I don't think I'd recommend it for hard core gamers, but my pings seem to be pretty solid. It's the throughput that fluctuates.

so basically this so called deal is a scam. they promise unlimited, in writing, but actually have a cap that they hide from unsuspecting consumers. got it.
There's no cap. It is just like unlimited internet from AT&T or Spectrum at your house. People are getting confused about the mobile data caps which do not apply to home internet.

Well there needs to be some type of cap because what would prevent someone that lives in an apartment or multifamily dwelling from sharing it? Or a college frat house? And whats to prevent a business with 20+ users for example signing up as a personal line and using it for business?

Unlimited, they just throttle you after you use the reasonable amount - makes sense
It is not throttled after a certain amount. It is throttled the whole time from day 1 via prioritization on the tower

I was eligible and able to grab this deal at a TM store . Got the device and speed is great. My account still says $50 but I was told by a TM employee that they will adjust it automatically when the bill is issued. Is this correct or it should say $25 on my account ?
It is $50, then they will apply a credit to your account of $20 then another for $5 for autopay.

I'll answer a few questions based on my experience with Tmobile home internet
1. Yes this is an awesome deal and I'm mad that I've had it for some time and I'll have to keep paying more than this as a long time customer.
2. Is it perfect, no. It's cheaper but it isn't going to be (on average for most people) better than fiber from the cable company but it's cheaper. The reliability is better than Starlink.
3. If you have coverage this is likely your best option in a rural area. It's better and cheaper than AT&T, Cricket, etc. with non-throttled cellular plans.
4. This is cellular so coverage will vary.
5. Tmobile customer service is crap. Sure it's better than say Cricket and worse than the local cable provider but it's offshore like call centers with power-less local store folks. You are basically out in the cold if the local tower goes down unless they fix it in good time. Again it is likely the best option in rural areas that have no fiber.
6. If your area is densely populated and a bunch of people get this service on your tower it will be MUCH slower than other options in my experience. Think busy cell tower.
7. It "might" work for some as a mobile solution like in RV's but it's designed for a single location. Tmobile doesn't want you to move it around and will likely give you grief over that at some point. The equipment is also big like big coffee can size so it isn't a hot spot.
8. Placement in your house matters, a lot. If you have this and the coverage is good at your location then you need to move it around the house to find the best spot.
9. Download speeds are stated as 33-182 mbs but it depends on your location and how many people are on that tower. I tested this as I write this at 6am on a weekday and I'm in a really rural fringe area and it gave me 155 download and 36 upload which I'd say is about the peak performance but we have very few people on our tower.
10. You might be able to sign-up through urlhasbeenblocked (instead of the affiliate links above) and get $25 or 2500 Amex points on this. YMMV
For
5. Customer service is excellent if you use T-Force. The offshore service is like anything else these days. However, the guy who helped me via online chat was offshore and had zero issues signing me up for the deal a few hours after this offer started. I figured since it was the first day, I might have to use T-Force.
6. They are limiting the users in an area by address to hopefully prevent this
9. It depends on your tower. If you are getting long range 5G, yeah speeds will be lower. I am on a 5G UC tower seeing 200-400mbps depending on time of day. It never seems to go below 200.

Hi, Is there an activation fee when signing up for this service? I just spoke to tmobile rep and she told me there will be $35 activation fee? Anyone able to get them to waive this fee either in store or over the phone? Thanks

Thanks for the reply. A couple more questions:
1. With Orbi in router mode, does T-Mobile router assign the IP address (192.168.12.x) or Orbi assigns IP address (192.168.1.x) to the connected devices? In router mode also I think I was seeing all devices on T-Mobile router app as well!
2. My Samsung TV was not connecting to internet when Orbi was in router mode and that is why I switched to AP mode and it then connected fine. Do you think that was because of double NAT thing in router mode?

I signed up on the 16th and still haven't received $25 off promotion.
I'm guessing we gotta wait for next billing cycle?

Wrong. Been using for over a year in NC. Speeds generally 300-400 megs. Dropped Spectrum over one year ago.

Not a good sign. The "2022 HINT P22" promotion is auto attached to the new HSI line under my account. If I were you I'll contact customer service and ask them to check
