2 4aH batteries for under $40 is pretty slick. I'm just shipping the drill to a different store so I don't have to worry about returning it

Really? I thought they were almost 2x a week. Seemed pretty constant to me. Almost to a point, they just become the normal price. Especially at HD

$40 for two 4Ah batteries after returning/ canceling the drill kit is about as good as it gets. Hell, even keep the drill kit to have a beater around and it's still a good deal

Agree with the first part but if you want a beater drill, snag one from DTO when buying something else. They are $10 sometimes
