Great deals with dynamic discs... Quality discounts with some great offers. There are several shop and get free items!

I bought a discounted (20% off) ZUCA cart and got a free dynamic discs paratrooper bag.

Make sure your free item is in the cart when you checkout, use the code and wammo! Free shipping for orders over $100 too I think.

Sorry first post.

7/6/-1/1 for example

First number is speed (7)- how fast the disc cuts through the air. Faster discs have higher distance potential but require more arm speed to control and actually reach the necessary power to make the disc fly properly. Speeds range from 1-14.

Second number is glide (6)- how long the disc holds in the air. Glide typically ranges from 1-6 although I think 1 manufacturer got crazy and made a 7 glide disc- that would be almost like a catch frisbee.

Third number (-1) is high speed turn. This is how much the disc moves in the direction of its spin at high speeds. If you're throwing right hand backhand this is how much the disc moves to the right in the early portion of the flight. The lower the number (-4 or -5) the more the disc will move. Ranges from +1 (disc never moves right and starts moving in the opposite direction) to -5 (disc moves a lot). Discs with lower high speed turn (-4 or -5) are easier to throw for beginners and lower arm speeds.

Final number is fade (1). This is how hard the disc dumps at the end of its flight. This would fall left for a right hand backhand throw. Beginners with lower arm speeds want a lower number here (0 or 1) unless you're specifically looking for a disc that curves more or fights the wind. Numbers range from 0-5.

Have fun.
I don't need anything there, but thumbs up just for posting DG deals ... nice to see!
The starter sets are fine from any manufacturer. They'll typically include a mid range, putter, and lower speed driver. Sometimes it's nice to be able to select your own weights- I've seen too many starter sets that end up with all 3 discs around 150g. This is really tough for a putter especially.

From Dynamic Discs, If I were buying 3 discs I'd say go Judge (putter) Fuse (mid range) and Warship (Fairway Driver). These are all easier to throw discs. Get the judge at 175g, the Fuse around 170g and the Warship around 165g.

If you buy from somewhere else, Innova is the largest manufacturer. I'd recommend aviar (putter) /mako 3 (mid)/leopard (fairway driver)

Good luck, if you're anything like the rest of us, you'll be buying way more discs in no time.

There's some good deals if you were planning on buying something anyway (e.g. 20-30% off), but nothing tempting enough to jump on otherwise.

Similar to their Black Friday deals, but less possible freebies. Worth a look, especially for a few of the bags they have heavily discounted.

As a heads up Zuca is still running 20% off on their site. The carts are less expensive on Zuca.com compared to DynamicDiscs.com but of course you don't get any of the freebies on Zuca.com that DD is offering on their website. So, if you just want the cart and the freebies isn't worth the extra cost order from Zuca. If the freebies are worth paying a little bit extra, then order from DD.

How cheap do the baskets ever go? Looking at the recruit lite which is 110 and seems a decent price compared to what I've seen before, but granted I haven't really kept a close eye on baskets.

Duh! I thought this was for golf bags and carts. Then realized it's for frisbee. I couldn't figure out why I didn't recognize the names of any of the products. 🤦🏻 ♂️

My buddy has been asking me to get into this sport. I have no knowledge of the basic things I need to start out. What do you recommend? The 5 disc box?

I have a course that butts up to my backyard. I have gotten pretty good and I still have no idea what any of the numbers mean, and can barely tell a difference between a putting disc and a long distance disk. Start cheap, then build up. You may hate it, or you may decide to spend some money later.

When I started out I bought a bunch of factory second disc's from the innova site. The cheaper dx plastic disc's are only $6 a piece, the star plastics still only end up costing $12. As long as you don't mind having generic f2 labels on them they are just as good. I would recommend the cheaper plastics to start as they break in quicker.
