Please update your post and title. It's 18V Hammer Drill Kit (subcompact) and comes with two 2ah batteries and a charger. You probably should note the shipped cost vs instore pickup cost.

DTO's daily deal today is a bargain: The RIDGID 18V SubCompact Brushless 1/2 in. Hammer Drill Kit + 2 x 2.0 Ah Batteries & Charger for $65, or $80 including shipping.

Today only. At DTO: Factory Blemished = NEW and includes Lifetime Service Agreement

For reference, this combo kit currently sells for $179 on Home Depot: https://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGI.../315310200

Specs:

RIDGID introduces the 18V SubCompact Brushless 1/2 in. Hammer Drill/Driver Kit with (2) 2.0 Ah Batteries and 18V Charger. This model is 30% less weight and 30% more compact with optimized ergonomics. • Hammer Drill/Driver:

  • Includes a hammer mode setting on the integrated clutch for concrete drilling
  • 24 position clutch ring for ultimate precision when driving
  • Reversible belt hook and bit holder apply to either side for additional customization
  • LED light illuminates the workspace

  • 100% Compatible: Works with all RIDGID 18V Batteries, Tools, and Chargers

If you've been on the fence about picking anything up from their current 50% off sale, but concerned about the shipping cost, this might help get you over the edge. It's a great brushless do-it-all driver that's easy to carry around and reasonably lightweight.

The typo of "Ridgid" is causing reposts because this one doesn't show up

The #1 reason you buy Ridgid is the lifetime warranty. This site says 3 years. " RIDGID: Covered by a 3-Year Limited Warranty. Qualifying products are eligible for LSA when registered with RIDGID within 90 days of purchase."

I'd be pretty surprised if this is a qualifying product.

Buy directly from Home Depot AND register for the warranty. There is no other way.

This is wrong. Call Ridgid and confirm if you would like. All factory blemished and new qualify for LSA if registered within 90 days of purchase. I have 2 factory blemished Ridgid panel lights that were purchased at DTO and both were approved for LSA and show up in my Ridgid tool box on Ridgid's website.

Reconditioned tools are not eligible for LSA.

Agreed about the main reason to buy the brand is the LSA warranty. BUT - I have piles of Ridgid 18v tools that I have purchased from DTO for my school, and all are registered with Ridgid and have the LSA warranty approved.

There's even a step right in the Ridgid warranty registration where it asks where the tool was purchased, and Direct Tool Outlet is one of the options you can select.

Maybe they'll stop honoring LSA for purchases through DTO, but they haven't yet. And DTO is owned by TTI - the parent company of Ridgid, Ryobi, and Milwaukee, so it's not some unauthorized seller.

There are lots of threads on here about it, and I've yet to see anyone say that they've been turned down for the LSA with a "factory blem" (new) tool from Direct Tools Outlet.

For anyone remotely interested in the Ridgid line of cordless tools, this topic is like beating a dead horse. Yet here we are having to explain it, again.

I have eight separate DTO purchases of blemished Ridgid tools, all have been registered and are showing LSA on the ridgidpower website.

Edit: blemished get LSA, not reconditioned - I always get those mixed up.

There should really be a sticky FAQ on all DTO posts, stating:
— "blemished" = new w/ warranty
— "reconditioned" = refurbs or returns
— customer service is lacking
— yes, you (usually) need to pay for shipping, and it can be slow
— DTO is owned by TTI who owns all the brands sold there.
— not all DTO prices are great. But some deals are excellent, and better than you'll ever see at Home Depot.

Similarly, there should be a sticky on Home Depot threads that explains "the hack".

How's it feel to be so confidently incorrect?

The factory-blemished 7-1/4" Ridgid circular saw that I purchased from DTO back in May qualified for the LSA.

I did have to email Ridgid to finish processing the LSA, but for some reason, I've had to do that with every Ridgid tool I've purchased from Home Depot as well.

Please don't post things that are completely not true.

COMPLETELY AGREE

FFS
Why does this topic have to come up in practically EVERY SINGLE Ridgid Blemished DTO sale???

DTO Blemished Ridgid tools qualify for the full warranty

And yes I have purchased many blemished tools from DTO and they are all registered for the lifetime warranty

Thanks OP. I'm returning this Black Friday kit from Home Depot that is still in the box for $140

https://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGI.../320306478

and picking up the hammer drill kit and impact driver kit instead. So upgraded drill, plus an extra battery, extra charger, and extra bag for $10. Sweet!!

Great suggestion and I second this.

Anyone know what the pickup time allowed from a DTO store is before they will cancel the order?
