Better to buy it from Costco

1. Better warranty
2. 100 streaming
3. Easy to return if you dont like it

I would think these are stock from before LG updated their panel design (pre-Oct 2022) to be brighter and more efficient.

Samsung QLED if you prioritize HDR brightness and usage in a brightly lit space.

LG G2 is slightly brighter than C2.

Samsung QD-OLED (both their own and Sony's) is better in terms of overall picture quality but has sub pixel issues in font rendering (not an issue if you use as a TV) and much better color luminance, but it costs much more than the LG OLEDs and the LG OLEDs already have superb picture quality. There's also no polarizer, so it tends to wash out a bit more than regular OLED if the viewing conditions aren't dark. That being said... OLED in general is poor for bright viewing conditions anyways. I didn't consider it to be a notable difference from the regular OLED.

77" for $1700, or 83" for $2400 is my target. Don't need anything smaller.

I agree. I think the Costco deal is better because of the warranty and return policy if you end up not liking it

In case anyone's wondering about the comparison with C2, basically B2 slightly less bright (~10%) in HDR (but brighter than C2 in game mode for some reason), borders 0.11" thicker, tv thickest part is 0.2" thicker. Otherwise pretty much the same. Source: https://www.rtings.com/tv/tools/c...1229/31240
One thing that tons of people don't know about is that the C2 has Dolby Precision Detail for Dolby Vision content. It brings out a lot more detail in dark scenes and really makes them pop. It's a big difference, depending on what you're watching. Whether or not it's worth the price difference is up for debate. I love it, though. Currently, the only 2 TVs in existence that have that feature are the C2 and G2. So, if you're a Dolby Vision enthusiast, just keep that in mind.
