A good deal for this tv would be about $550
I own this TV and paid $1,799 for it and think it's worth every penny of what I paid so this is actually a fantastic deal!!!! Unless you can get the Samsung EDU deal

What nonsense are you talking about this is their high end model and is a pretty good price but if I had to choose I would probably get the LG C2 model in the other thread over this.

You know this is one of only two models on the market featuring Quantum-Dot OLED panels, right? It's got the best color volume out there and it's brighter than the LG WRGB OLED sets like the C2 and G2. While it's a little tricky to calibrate well, it's the best OLED panel tech that's out there right now. The only better TV out there is the Sony A95K which uses the exact same panel as the S95b. And the Sony is like $3,000.00

No...there have been several 65" LED televisions here on slick deals that have been in the $350-400 range

This over the LG C2 despite lack of Dolby Vision?

Hard to justify anything over $1400 just knowing that it can be purchased for that. I tried my hardest for an hour to get that price and couldn't pull it off, regardless of what others said in the comments. Lots of quality control and software issues reported, better off waiting for gen 2 anyway.

I didn't know/realize that. That's a deal breaker in 2022.

Not for me it isn't. I bought one and it's an awesome TV. Sony sells a similarly performing QD-OLED for $3000.

No Samsung TV carries Dolby Vision capability. They refuse to pay the meager licensing fee per unit sold.

Huge flaw, given Dolby Vision is winning the HDR standard war (or won it really)
