Newer ones are better as I heard, but definitely check in to that issue if you're buying.
It usually comes after the warranty ends. Good thing I had a 3rd party extended warranty added.

We have identified that monitors with a beginning serial number range of 111~204 will require proactive service to prevent a future power failure. If you find out that your serial number falls within that range, then please contact us on social media by sending us a private message on Facebook or Twitter using @LGUSSupport and include #VOC, your contact info and model and serial numbers as we will get you setup through our repair process while still under your manufacturer's warranty. Ooops nevermind, the one I bought has type c power connection (this one below) but I think it's the same exact panel otherwise

It looks like the UK has HDR10 where this model has HDR400. Could be a misprint or me misreading though.
Not sure HDR really makes a difference at this level. Currently using a couple of 27UL600 with HDR400 and it's not what I would call 'true' HDR like on my TVs.
