Wow. Gone are the days of actually sending an email or calling customer support. Now we have to register our life's details with these foul social media companies just to get a part replaced.
Your preference for a higher refresh rate is valid, obviously, but let's be clear: 1440p (qhd) is *less than half* the resolution of 4k, and not 'slightly lower resolution' as you stated.

This seems like a really good deal from my limited knowledge. Anyone know how this compares to the 27UK650-W? That one looks great on rtings and seems wicked similar, currently $296 on Amazon.

I think these are (yearly) refreshes of the same line. I had a "UK" bought in 2018 and just a little after 1yr it started giving the "edge discoloration" issue. It's a pretty well documented issue for those older years.
Newer ones are better as I heard, but definitely check in to that issue if you're buying.
It usually comes after the warranty ends. Good thing I had a 3rd party extended warranty added.
Looked like LG responded to lord of the comments saying it was a specific serial number that would need preemptive repair due to a power issue.
LG response:
" Thank you for your review on our 27UP600/650 monitor. We have identified that monitors with a beginning serial number range of 111~204 will require proactive service to prevent a future power failure. If you find out that your serial number falls within that range, then please contact us on social media by sending us a private message on Facebook or Twitter using @LGUSSupport and include #VOC, your contact info and model and serial numbers as we will get you setup through our repair process while still under your manufacturer's warranty. Thank you so much. ^Jennifer"

With rotate support! That is rare on these low price 4K models. Most Dell I see have tilt stand only. You don't get rotate support until you paid $300 on an UltraSharp.
Great price but some bad reviews depending where u look. Would probably pass since it's from ebay. If from store or Amazon just easier to return if u don't like
I have this monitor, got two of them in August via another deal at Besrbuy for $299 each so this is a great price. I've been nothing but happy with them, 4K @ 27" is sweet spot, everything is crisp and clear…type c charging and speakers are pluses too ..overall this is a great monitor
Ooops nevermind, the one I bought has type c power connection (this one below) but I think it's the same exact panel otherwise

I'm watching the 27UK650-W on Amazon as well.
It looks like the UK has HDR10 where this model has HDR400. Could be a misprint or me misreading though.
Not sure HDR really makes a difference at this level. Currently using a couple of 27UL600 with HDR400 and it's not what I would call 'true' HDR like on my TVs.
