Press CTRL-D to enter Developer Mode and disable verification --- allow ChromeOS wipe ~5mins
02. Login to ChromeOS via google credz and establish WIFI connectivity with ur router. - shutdown Chromebook -- disconnect Power

04.Launch Chrome Browser then press Ctrl-ALT-T to launch a Terminal
05. Type "Shell" to enter shell mode and paste the MrChromebox.tech script in there:

06. select Option to install Full UEFI Firmware -- run through the prompts (because i can't remember them all) -- let it do its thing and reboot -- and you should get a coreboot "bunny" logo BIOS
07. Install Windows/Linux as any other x86 PC - through bootable ThumbDrive. - may need to find a Win11 TPM bypass method (with rufus)

Only things I dislike (but cannot complain about at the price) wifi chip is horrible. Reception is fine inside the house but as soon as I go into my backyard it refuses to connect. I can walk 3 houses down on my phone and other devices. Again can't complain for the price...
The trackpad feels a bit sensitive, could be a lot better, but not too big an issue.

Should I have just gone through the refund process online with ebay and then 'store drop off' would've been an option?

The strange thing is that according to this, the Shipt delivery driver picked up the item Saturday afternoon (presumably from a local store), but then they returned the item very early Sunday morning before the store even opened? That doesn't make sense to me.
I re-ordered the laptop yesterday (Sunday) and this time chose the free standard shipping option, which is supposed to deliver the item a day later than the expedited shipping option. Hopefully standard shipping uses the post office or UPS to delivery instead of Shipt.
Just wanted to give a heads up about BB contracting out to Shipt for their expedited shipping. It doesn't look like a reliable delivery service, and it seems there's some expectation to provide cash tips to their delivery drivers.

But is the touchscreen 250 nits and the nontouchscreen 170 nits or are they the same?

Also, it doesn't have great viewing angles which is both a pro and con.
Anyone bought both the touchscreen and nontouchscreen can give their opinion? Also why does the build of it in the picture look a bit different in the bottom of each laptop? Notice how the nontouch one looks different at the bottom when comparing the pictures?
