Bought this when first posted, Overclocked to 5.1 all cores (p) and 4.0 (e) and I don't think it can be beat for price performance.

Really wish the mobo was mATX.

Also, I'd never get a mobo that expensive, this is more like $100ish off for me.

Microcenter also has the Intel Core i5-12600K, ASUS Z690 Plus TUF Gaming WiFi DDR4, CPU / Motherboard Combo for 299.00. It's just another option that could meet someone elses needs a little better.

I had gotten this on BF but returned it and got the am5 Ryzen 7700 + 32GB DDR5 6000 ram deal for $350, and got an open box x670e mobo open box for $200 plus the $20 bundle discount. Figured an am5 socket + ddr5 + pcie5 would future proof me a bit, especially if the am5 x3d CPU rumors are true.

All that said this is a solid combo and a nice mobo for the price.

I bought this deal when it was first posted, and put a 3080 on it. I have the loudest coil whine I have ever heard from this board when gaming, does anyone have a similar experience?

Which X670e motherboard was that cheap via open box? Debating on changing my B650 to something else during pickup

Its not. I drove there. There is a literal pallet of them on the show room floor, and the computer says zero in stock.

Also if you buy an open box i5 or i7, you also get the 'free" motherboard. So i got a $322 open box i7 and then added the mobo for a penny.

As for others saying this is just an "Ok" deal, god speed finding something cheaper with the same specs as the $300 i5 combo or the $380/$350 i7 combo. This is not a $150 cpu and $150 mobo. There is no way to even find a $150 non Z mobo and a $150 12th gen anything.

Hell you might even be able to game the system and buy the combo, try to sell the i5-12600k cpu for $250+, and buy the $300 i5-13500k. Mine even had a i5-13500k for $240 openbox.

I did the same with the BF month pricing, they had an open box 12700K (which I think they messed up cause I got a sealed one when I went to pickup).

Paid $305 for the bundle. Amazing deal considering I sold my my old 9600k and Z board for about $220 total on Amazon

While I do not have a 3080 on mine, I have run a ton of benchmarks working this combo at 100% for over a hour and have no such whine, perhaps return for a replacement?

While I agree the BF stuff disappeared in a hurry, the current promotion has over 25+ in each of the 4 combo packages at my local store.

I am happy with this combo and have spent around $700 on the build so far. 16gb T-Force Delta RGB ddr 4 3200 $64, fractal Meshify 2 Compact RGB case $100, AK400 CPU fan $30, Samsung 1TB 980 pro NVME $64, Corsair rm750x psu $85, Solidigm 2TB P41 plus $109. Now I just need a reasonable GPU to finish it up.
