The Sam's in Stafford, Texas (between Houston and Sugar Land on 59/W Airport) has the 24 pack Minhas Craft Brewery Variety Pack Advent Beer Calendar for $8.51. That's 35.5 cents a beer! I picked up a few cases.
BTW, I stopped by another Sam's and it was still the $16.71 price so YMMV.
Reviews are not so great on the Sam's website, but at 35.5 cents a can, I'm not complaining!

Thanks for this. If you try a beer or two please let us know your thoughts. My location shows $12.50 online.
I'm into good beer but don't mind average beer as filler. I tend to find that people are really picky and exaggerated in beer reviews. I'm 100% good with so-so beer at that price but if there is a literal problem (as in bad batches) as alluded to in the reviews then maybe not worth it.
(Edit: The beer reviews on Beer Advocate for this maker range from Poor to Awful. Could they really be that bad.)

I've had 3 so far. I started with the cookies and cream porter since I like darker beers. It was decent enough that I thought the rest of them would be fine. I'm also not super picky when it comes to beer. The other day I had the New England IPA. It tasted like...an IPA. Again decent, but nothing to write home about other than it's cheap beer.
Out of the three beers I've had, nothing tasted "off" about them.
I saw in one of the reviews the complaint was the beer was super foamy. I had this happen before with a 12 pack of Real Ale, but I think it was due to my fridge being too cold or because I stored it sideways in a drawer instead of standing up. Still, in that instance, other than spilling a bunch of beer, when the foam settled, the beer was fine (imo).

Awesome, thank you. According to the Sams site, it looks like both locations on the west side inside the beltway are at $12.51 ($8.51 on the east side inside 8).
Into the darker beer as well.
Real Ale has some solid beer. So many good local breweries.
Even terrible beer is $20 for a 24 pack nowadays so this is a steal if it has alcohol in it at all. I got 8 of these and would have gotten more but I hit the 2340 ounce alcohol limit. Tu and repped.
OP, was this in the main store or their liquor store? I assume main. TY.
Main store. I'm in the Houston area, and the Sam's here don't have a liquor store attached to them like the Costco's do (that I've seen). All the Sam's I've been to in and around Houston only have beer and wine inside the main store.

Lol, I hit that limit too (using the Scan and Go app). Didn't know there was one. So I walked out, loaded the beer in the car, went back in and got another 8 cases.

I've tried about 10 of these. For the price, it's excellent. If a case was $30, I would be disappointed. My normal beer is Bud, Miller, etc., But I like craft beers, and this is good enough.

I go by that same motto. If I tried a $20 bottle of wine I'm sure it would taste fine. If I find it marked down to $3, it's going to taste terrific.
I've tried a few of these. Thus far there is nothing wrong with them imho. I'm the opposite as I'm accustomed to craft beer and no longer purchase the more popular American lagers.
