With new rewards program, I've been randomly getting free coffees under the offers section at certain hours of the day. I may have paid for 1 coffee since its release.

With new rewards program, I've been randomly getting free coffees under the offers section at certain hours of the day. I may have paid for 1 coffee since its release.
For instance, today I was passing through TD Garden around 1:10pm and I received a free medium iced or hot coffee in the offers section. Also, after I got the coffee another offer appeared for a free sandwich if I purchased a beverage, it wasn't there prior to the free coffee.
The previous time, it happened after I was stuck waiting for a train. I opened the app to see if I had any funds added to it while awaiting a new debit card. I didn't so I closed the app. Then remembered I could use GPay, reopened the app and it was there.
I think it randomly targets consumers based on location and off hours. Each of the locations are extremely busy in the mornings, lunch, and around afternoon breaks.
