I think for this 725 model and 735 model, with GaN gen2 tech, when you are charging the first device and plug in the second, the first one won't lost power like most other 99% chargers. Anyone can confirm? The latest $50+ Apple dual port charger can do this, but that is only 35w and way expensive.
Go look at the 6th picture on the Anker 735 model for clarification on how the charging is distributed. Basically whenever you plug in more than one device, no port will distribute full power to one port. It's split.

1 Port Charging:
- USB-C 65W Max (gets the full 65W output)
or
USB-A 22.5W Max output only

Two Port Charging:
USBC-1st Port 40W Max with USB-A 22.5W Max
USB-C-2nd Port 12w Max with USB-A 12W Max

Three Port Charging:
USB-C1st Port 40W Max
USB-C2nd Port 12W Max
USB-A Port 12W Max

Thank goodness for my surge protectors.
My reply was mostly for people who travel and don't bring a surge protector with them. It's one more thing to bring and have to take out of your bag to plug in etc. I don't mind having to bring something extra, but it's one more thing to pack and think about.

Price shown as $45.99, you are either looking at wrong charger or wrong price.
Or you don't have Prime. It's a prime exclusive price.

That guy who posted the review on Amazon with it plugged into an airplane outlet 🥴
I have one with similar design and it is true that plugging it in outlet that has been used a lot will likely result in it falling out. I saw the review on amazon. Mine didn't stay on that well at the hotel where I was staying.

Because 65W is total, 45W+18W, it is not auto switch and usbc cannot do 65W even nothing plug in on the other port.
Says it can.

Essentially, the 725 is a newer version of the PowerPort Atom III charger. If you have a few extra $, might as well get the 725 since it's smaller and has more wattage output. Also, the 725 charger supports PPS fast charging, the PowerPort Atom III does not.

So the PowerPortAtom III is essentially an older model.
It was listed on Amazon on March 19, 2019.

The 725 Charger was listed on Amazon on December 13, 2021.

PowerPortAtom III charger uses Gann version 1 technology and 725 uses Gan II (2nd generation) technology.

The USB-A port on the PowerPort is only 15w, while the 725 USB-A port outputs up to 18w.

USB-C Port on the Powerport is only up to 45w output.
USB-C on the 725 is up to 65w output (as long as you're using a compatible cable that can handle that output).

The 725 Charger also supports PPS Fast Charging with an output of 52w Max. The PowerPort Atom III does not support this kind of fast charging.

Both chargers have Power IQ technology.

That's all I got from looking at both listings as well as checking the Anker website.

People don't like this charger because it doesn't stay plugged in especially when the outlet is against the wall. The way this charger physically is makes the charger fall by its own weight. gg
Not sure why people are downvoting you when it's true. I have the same Anker plug that only has one USBC connector and it is very prone to coming loose and falling out. I guarantee this one which is a tad larger will do the same unless you have something like an end table up against the plug to keep it firm. Still a good price on this over an official Apple price but…still.

People only think this is a good deal because it's an Anker. Plenty of similar chargers on Amazon for same or less money. SD crowd has way overhyped Anker. It's not any better than most brands out there. I have bought many PD chargers over the years including Anker. The only one that has failed has been an Anker. Not saying Anker is bad, but just saying the chance of it failing is the same with any other charger out there so why pay the premium.

The Aukey version of this is smaller, costs about the same, and is made in the same shenzen factory block as Anker uses.
