Well actually they CAN spy on you with a charger, even just a simple looking USB cable (Google USB hijacking)

Can't understand all the intricacies, but there was at least one video with a different viewpoint. Looks like Eufy was not fully truthful about not having anything on the cloud, but it may not been have been a security issue or spying on users per se. Again, not an expert.

If you have anything else plugged in it will charge at 45 W in theory. As long as you're not hammering it, that will result in a charge. If you're using more than 45 watts it won't charge but it will reduce battery drain. That is, of course all theoretical as I don't yet have this charger nor do I have the laptop in question. You should be fine. I have used these sort of devices to charge USB chargeable laptops in the past without issue, these really are designed to charge higher end tablets and laptops. Phones do not need anywhere near this sort of wattage.

Is this deal good because of the brand? There are many 2-port GaN chargers on eBay that have same wattage and charge in similar way for less than half the price..

problem with ebay is that you get no reviews. not that reviews can not be fake, but for the most part one can see the negative reviews on amazon and other sites.
