To be fair....yoga wheels have been around since 1978.
Chirp just branded and advertised well.

Well-made from a company I trust. Really helps with stretching my back muscles. However after several uses, I found them too firm. I cut strips off a 1/4 inch yoga mat to fit over the existing wheels and overlapped the ends together to give it additional padding. Now it is closer to the Chirp wheels and much more comfortable on my back.

Are there different types of chirp wheels? I tried some from a friend of mine and they had no flex and rubber tread on them. There's no padding at all.
They are bit different. I use both.
The wheels have a groove so it gets the muscles along the spine a lot better.
Foam roller I use more for other parts like legs and ribs.
If you find that you want more relief for your spine then maybe this would work.
But if you've been happy with a foam roller then this might not be for you.
Chirp ripped off yoga wheels been around since the 1970's it's just marketing. Chirp are a bunch of millennial obnoxious aye holds
