If you are an existing FIOS customer, without Verizon Wireless (cell) service, give this a try.
Check http://verizon.com/specials to see what is currently offered in your area (make sure the zip code is correct).
Try ordering it, but most likely it won't give you that price when you get to the options to order.
If the offer is less than you're paying now, chat with a rep, mention that you see the offer but it won't let you order it.
They will say it is not applicable to your account.
At this point you can try asking to speak to a supervisor, that isn't the path I took though, they offered it later in the chat.
If your area also has a competitor like Xfinity, mention that they are offering 400 meg for $29.99 per month (or whatever offer is in your area). Not sure if this helped my case or not but can't hurt if you have a similar offer.
They probably still say they can't do anything.
Ask them to schedule cancel of your service on the last day of your billing cycle (if your billing cycle ends in a few days, don't risk that, either wait a few days to try this or tell them to cancel at the end of your next billing cycle a month out since it will take you a while to get the new competitor service installed).
In my case they then offered for me to talk to a supervisor. I restated the case to them, and they applied $10 discount to match the offer on my current plan. Got an email, accepted the offer, and was good to go.
No 10 year price lock included in my deal (no router either but I don't need that). The 10 year price lock says only for customers who have not been active in 180 days. So if you really want that 10 year lock, you probably have to cancel and sign up again under a new name (there is a specific process to follow when doing this, make sure you schedule the cancellation on the last day of your billing cycle and the new service to start on the day after that, and you will have some downtime).

So it appear that you need to have 5G phone service with Verizon to get this deal.
Better to stay at Tmobile with cheaper unlimited plan TMobile offers.
I talked to a sales rep. and said I dont need the 5G svc. and she said she can offer me the same plan but without 5G it would be $30 a month with free install & setup. Call them or try over chat.
you can get this same deal without the 5G phone svc. for $30 a month. I just signed up my parents for it.

How did you get it for 30? I'm not seeing that on the website.

Does someone need to come out to set it up or is it self-install?
So it's $30 for 4G service and $50 for 5G (with auto-pay)?
5G Home
Wireless home internet, powered by 5G Ultra Wideband.
$50 with Auto Pay.

Do you have a non-5G Verizon Wireless phone? It specifically says $50/mo without the 5G account on the site.

No luck chatting trying to get a reduction for existing customer to $30. The 300/300 plan I have now is $39.99 and the cheapest new plan is 49.99 (includes a router which I don't need). May try giving a call, as comcast is offering 400M for $30 a month here (not that I would switch but it is good bargaining chip).
Don't see how this is countering T-Mobile $25 plan as this has been out since Verizon changed up their plan structure a few months ago. If anything, it's the opposite.
