So it appear that you need to have 5G phone service with Verizon to get this deal.

Better to stay at Tmobile with cheaper unlimited plan TMobile offers.

I talked to a sales rep. and said I dont need the 5G svc. and she said she can offer me the same plan but without 5G it would be $30 a month with free install & setup. Call them or try over chat.

you can get this same deal without the 5G phone svc. for $30 a month. I just signed up my parents for it.

T-Mobile 5G Internet is 50% off at $25 for life. No loopholes or trades or switches from other providers. Better data cap too. FYI
FIOS has no data cap, so I'm not sure what you're referring to here.

FIOS unavailable for me. I only see 5G Home or Home Plus. Let's see if Xfinity and AT&T up their game to compete.

No luck chatting trying to get a reduction for existing customer to $30. The 300/300 plan I have now is $39.99 and the cheapest new plan is 49.99 (includes a router which I don't need). May try giving a call, as comcast is offering 400M for $30 a month here (not that I would switch but it is good bargaining chip).
Return the router and get discount

You need to have a Verizon postpaid line for the above and actually you'll get a discount still bundling them. The old bundle is still there for old plans I believe.

Nope if you take the router off the order it does not change the price, and chat confirmed it would be billed at $0 so returning it would not change the price.

Understood this deal is for wireless subscribers. Several in the thread said they were able to get a $30/mo deal without wireless, but looks like they're offering that to new subscribers only. But I'll still call in at some point and see.

Gotcha. It's one person not several and he does have proof but no one else seemed to have able to reproduce it. He even got lucky to get install waived as I remember only online orders get waived for the many Fios setups I helped family and friends do with the prior 39.99 price.

Yeah I thought it was 2 or 3 but just the same person replying though. Still worth a try especially since Comcast is offering 30 in my area. Both companies are much more flexible when they don't have a monopoly.

Does someone need to come out to set it up or is it self-install?

So it's $30 for 4G service and $50 for 5G (with auto-pay)?

5G Home
Wireless home internet, powered by 5G Ultra Wideband.
$50 with Auto Pay.
Is it 5g cell service internet or FIOS? Because FIOS is fiber optic always fast service right? No worries of bad signal, congestion, or de-prioritization or anything?

It is FIOS, but you have to bundle phone service to get this price.

No bad signal or deprioritization however congestion is theoretically possible, but I've never experienced anything less than 110% of my speed and I've had it for years.

I see that it says you need 5g cell service bundled with it, but your post says "Wireless home internet, powered by 5G Ultra Wideband." as if it's also 5g internet rather than FIOS internet
But it turns out they are not available in my area anyway which is disappointing
