Hollow knight is epic. Best game ever. There is so much wait for it's sequel. I have seen cheaper price for it though.
When you watch videos of both, it's hard to put into words how much different it feels watching it vs. playing it. For me, I really enjoy the combat in Hades and I never mind the live-die-repeat nature of it because the gameplay was so satisfying. It is a grind though and you have to REALLY enjoy the combat system if you're going to put in a lot of time into it. Lots of variety. Hollow Knight is a grind in the beginning without the compass but if you push through the early frustrations, it really starts to get rolling. I encourage everyone to exercise patience with Hollow Knight cuz it's really hard to know what you're doing and where you're going in the early game.
Hollow Knight is amazing, worth every penny! It is a masterpiece and so much fun if you like platformers.
Hades is good, and a lot of people love it. I thought it was okay but the rougelike gameplay and its live-die-repeat nature makes it feel a little repetitive. The weapons and powerups give it a lot of character.

Buy and equip the wayward compass charm. It shows your location on the map
Currently playing hallow knight. It's fun but HARD and there's a TON of backtracking. If you get killed by a boss the game makes you backtrack all the way back to the boss. There's no save points before the boss
I am pretty biased but these are two of the very best games for the Nintendo Switch. I put tons of hours in to both of these.... multiple times over on different platforms as well hahaa.... damn I'm lame.

Sit at every bench that you encounter. I feel like there are a pretty good amount of benches throughout the world and I *believe* there is always one before a big event/boss.
