I've got the 6, and find I like the style more since it's more basic. The 7 isn't as "stout" and I feel like it takes less to make it wobble. Just and observation.

I ordered the 7 last month from T-Mobile for my parents-in-law for Christmas. Opened it up to compare and it sounded pretty much the same.
