If you spend $100, they give you these for free.

And while I love Taytools, these brad points are horrible. You get a few holes, and they stop cutting entirely.

Do yourself a favor, and just buy the WoodOwl overdrive from Taytools. They're a far better bit than ANY brad point style bit in existence. (They just don't come under ⅜"... for smaller ones I use the Viking brad points since the Fisch brads went down in quality.

There's a ton of great Japanese or Italian bits out there, but they can be insanely expensive. )

The woodowl bits are phenomenal. Just a joy to use. Will second the viking bits as well.

Yeah, WoodOwl makes you want to keep drilling more holes lol.

Their ⅜" overdrive is AWESOME in a Pocket hole jig. I bore straight through so I can glue in a ⅜" dowel instead of a screw, and it adds an easy, amazing look, with unmatched strength. You can even make your own larger PH or Doweling Jig with whatever larger size you want.

Also, you can use brass rods, or even steel pipe.
