Do you have experience with the Kinvara? I'm wondering how the Magic Speed compares to them.
UPDATE: ended up buying the EvoRide2 for $41. I'm happy with the deal.

I do not, but I regularly run in Saucony Rides. The Magic Speed is much lighter and much more springy. The rocker design pushes you forward. Cushioning is slightly less but not drastic. Upper is much thinner (if there's anything I dislike, it's that there's no padding in the tongue which makes the lacing system less comfortable -- not terrible, just less than the Ride or other neutral trainers I've run in (Brooks Launch, Brooks Ghost, Asics Nimbus).
Sounds good. I would have ordered a pair but my size has been cleared out. But the EvoRide2 looks like a winner based on the muti tester review at RTR. They view it as an upgraded Kinvara.
I also got a pair of Novablasts for $57 this week from the RW clearance deal to use for longer runs.
Speaking of tongues, Brooks designed an excellent thin tongue on their recent Caldera 6. It's made of a compressed layer of ventilated foam..It can absorb lace strain like a plush tongue but is more compact and durable.

I have run in neither but it's clear that the Pegasus is more traditional in design.
Just curious, what do you run in?
Used to run in 680v6's but they aren't cushioned enough for me anymore and the insoles are garbage. I wouldn't expect 680v7 Fresh Foams to be any better since they're still just a cheap foam shoe.
NB manufacturing quality has gone down the toilet and I magically now need 11 2Es instead of 10.5 Ds in most of their shoes.

How much is the drop on the 880s? If it's too high you may experience some lower leg stress with these Asics shoes.
RW had a deal on the 880 V12 which unfortunately just expired yesterday. The deal was 3 pairs of 880 for $151.53.
$40-$50 is pretty low for 880s. Where do you usually see them at that price?
