I bought this about 3 years ago to hang insulation in my garage. I ended up switching back to an ergonomic stapler to get the job done. My M12 staplers was constantly jamming. I even went and bought a different brand staples trying to see if that helped.....it did not.

I'm a huge Milwaukee fan and have thousands invested in the Milwaukee tools, but this is probably my most disappointing Milwaukee purchase I have made.

This is just my experience. I hope other have had better luck with theirs.

yup, use them often.
the main reason i picked it up was for 6mil plastic sheathing we put around our animal structures every winter, did it the first year with manual guns... it worked, but took a while. picked one of these up and what a breeze. much like switching to an impact driver from a drill, just makes the job way easier and faster... driving staples with my arm fully extended, while i'm hanging off a ladder/platform, not a thing you can do easily with a manual gun. even installing insulation, easy peasy. picked up another gun the next year for my wife, with both of us putting up roughly 10' x 330' of plastic, saves tons of time.

for normal home owners... not really sure it's worth the cost. if we didn't have the animals, i'd still being using a manual gun for the limited stapling we'd need.

Used to to staple some holiday lights to a wood cutout. Also used it for some insulation in a crawl space.

And would buy it again, any cons?

I bought one, it died within 20 staples. Milwaukee replaced it no questions asked. Read some other reviews that said the same thing happened. The replacement has been fine so far but haven't used it a ton. YMMV

100.74 for me! Excellent deal other than the 6.49 shipping.

Tried for store pickup but no dice. However store does look nice so planning a visit.

Fantastic tool. I was able to grab it on Amazon for $70 a few weeks back but no battery. The depth, power adjustment is a little tedious to work with but once you dial in your good. Also, make sure to keep it very parallel on trigger pull. Can be a little tricky while holding it and pressing the safety piece

Would this tool be good for stapling 6" high thick baseboard back in place that was taken off during a wet drywall problem?
Thanks

You would want to use a brad nailer for baseboard as the staples would leave too large an indentation that you would need to putty.

I have this tool from a much earlier deal and have used it a few times. It is a PITA to line up the tip so the staple goes exactly where you want it, and the delay when you press the trigger is frustrating.

I've used air staplers for decades so I'm used to the quick firing from those. If you are doing a small job, this might work OK, but I have found other tools (manual for plastic sheathing or wrapped insulation) or air for tougher jobs such as upholstery are easier and give a better result.
