I bought this off the Lenovo website almost a month ago and it's a monster. Just two things to consider when buying this.
This is the AMD variant which means it's likely got the Mediatek WiFi chip. There are new drivers that supposedly improve performance, but I bought an AX201 chip from Intel and it works way better.
The other piece is there's a critical BIOS update that may need to be applied that resolves random stutters that the laptop has. Apparently, it only impacted AMD-based chipsets but after I applied the update from November from Lenovo directly performance is as expected.
Overall, very happy with the product.
Solid laptop! I paid this price for the Ryzen 7 version and a regular 3070 gpu. Plays any game I throw at it smoothly. The screen is sexy too.
if you are doing something cpu or gpu intensive it will spin up the fans. In quiet mode it does stay quiet and often times will shut off the fans entirely.

Seems like a good deal. The Perks at Work price is over $1800. I've been eyeing a Legion 7, but they can't keep any stock and have no reason to sell them for a decent price.
But will new tech early next year drop prices more?

Does it stay cool or do the fans run all the time under stress?
