If you get a chance to look at project farm's evaluation of tongue and groove pliers it tends to make you go away from cheaper pliers. As one reviewer said the older units had an adjustable screw which is now replaced by a rivet. Project Farm's rated Harbor freights Doyle brand good for the money. You can get some of the doyles at 30% off at harbor freights weekend sale. I am going there now for wire wheels and brushes. I am by no means a Harbor freight shill. They do have some good things. Some of their cheaper groove pliers are also kind of junky. My $.02.
