Hamilton Men's Jazzmaster Thinline Automatic Watch

It's my understanding (not from personal experience, but from others I know who have purchased) is that these watches are basically brand new in box. My hypothesis is that the "shopworn" has 2 business models… 1. actual floor models and 2. a way for brands like Hamilton to closeout inventory that isnt moving without devaluing the brand.

I mean, how many "demo models" can there possibly be? And how can Shopworn possibly get their hands on all these identical "demo models" from stores all over the US?

People tend to be wary to buy items (especially luxury items) at MSRP if the company has an official 64.5% off sale like this. So they sell brand new inventory and say that the discount is because these 1000s of basically brand new watches in box with paperwork were all "demo models".

This is just my hypothesis, but I'm pretty confident in it.

With that said, you can expect these watches to be brand new in box. I'm not sure if the warranty is from
Hamilton or a 3rd party. Often brands like Hamilton will give these merchants a cheaper price per unit if they don't need to honor the warranty. However with that said, Hamilton makes great watches and these movements are not only superb, but very easy to service by any competent watchsmith so I wouldn't worry about the warranty too much.

Back to your point, one thing to be weary of is that if your credit card company provides an "extended warranty" on your purchases, it will NOT apply here because these are technically considered "used" (which nulls any kind of extended warranty)

Much too large for a proper dress watch. The thickness is nice though. 36-37mm would be the classic sweet spot here

That may be your personal preference, but people prefer larger watch cases these days. 36-37mm would be considered a standard size women's or small size men's (6" wrist) case. A standard size men's case is 38mm-42mm.

This is the cheapest I've seen this by $10, but if you purchase with paypal and chase freedom, you'll get an additional points. I bought just two months ago with the blue dial. As someone pointed out, not having a seconds hand is disappointing. I probably should have noticed before I bought, but that's not something I'm typically looking for. The power reserve for me is less than a full day, probably 18 hours. Currently contemplating having it looked at through Shopworn's warranty. The rotor is also much louder than my other watches. Not a deal breaker, just unexpected. The ticking also pretty noticeable even when I don't have my hand up to my face. Shopworn's photo colors are a bit off, was hoping for a darker brown strap that it shows, but it came with a more british tan fcolor, so might purchase one on Hamilton's website. All in all, a positive purchase as an everyday watch due to the thinness.
