this is for the essentials yall, if you are upgrading to plus you get less days due to the conversion(read below). Totally confused me at first

What tier did you upgrade without reading into it further, these deals are typically for 1-year at the essential/lowest tier. Then you get less time converted if you're on a higher tier. I think 1-year of essentials converts to ~186 days of premium if I'm remembering right?

On Sony's website there is a conversion table. Let me look...not the website but user created chart.

It's accurate from what I remember, 183 days is what you get for premium if it's a year of essentials code.

Long story short, if the code worked at all, you did not get scammed most likely.

I can confirm that's about the time I received when I added a "1 year" of essentials to my premium subscription when I bought it directly from PlayStation during the black Friday sale.

You must have one the middle tier of PlayStation Plus. It is 365 days but only for the base "Essential" tier. If you apply this PIN and have either the middle or premium tier the days are reduced.
