It's a $10 additional charge for any device that's not a phone. On top of that you have to pay for unlimited data ($20 to $40 depending on the number of lines) or pay by the gig ($15/gig). It's really not worth having any device (e.g., tablet, watch, etc.) that's not a phone on Xfinity mobile. I recently switched to Xfinity from Verizon where I was only paying $5/month for 1GB for an iPad. With 7 lines I'm saving $30/month on service and $15/month on taxes/fees vs Verizon so it was worth the switch. The only issue is customer service at Xfinity is the worst in the industry vs Verizon is probably one of the best. Just pray you have no issues that require calling customer service.
This is still active... looking at it now... I know it DOES require the $10 month tablet fee but does it also require paying for data? I would likely not using the data but to me ($10 x 24) < $310

Looks like it just works the same as a phone but with an additional $10/month fee. So either by-the-gig or unlimited...cheapest being $15 for 1 gig.
Not sure if your math really checks out if you don't plan to use data. It's $150 (cell model upcharge) + $240 > $310...and that's without finding it at any discount at any retailer.

Similar deal is still active - for those that took advantage of it in the past is it really minimum $25/mo to add the iPad? $10 tablet fee + $15 per gig?

Instead of a phone line, just have a tablet line?
