The Shark AV2501S AI Ultra Robot Vacuum with the same dust bin capacity is $298.99 on Amazon. Don't know what the difference other than color. People do complain about the app working all of the time and the features as well.
Have had this for a few months to do maintenance vacuuming for our husky. Works very well. App is OK. Have had to do a deep clean of the unit (the actual vacuum) once though but it's designed to come apart easily.
I assume we can buy online and return to store? if so I can save $60.

Amazon may be cheaper, but look online on robot vacuum subreddit, shark support is trash. Extra cost from Costco is worth it IMO.
I have the lower tier of this Shark without the room mapping, so can't vouch for the app which most people seem to have issues with on that feature - but the robot is fine for me (but only 1 month use case testing, not long enough for accurate review)

This was my first robot vac, so I don't have a comparison. Mapping went fine. Only perpetual issue is ~ 50% of the time it gets stuck on a THICK shag rug we have, complains about cliff sensor. Does a VERY good job on pet hair..... amazing how tidy it keeps the floor (about 900 sq ft).

Yeah, mine got stuck on the food / water bowl mat for my dog so we got a bigger one and it stopped there, but we only have lower rugs - so good to know.
We have a golden retriever and I empty every day just for the satisfaction and shock of seeing how much hair it picks up every day.
My downstairs is also basically a fully open room so I think that helps too with how well my robot works

I had to create a no go zone near out water mat/dish, was easy enough, and while the vac would "vacuum" the water, it wouldn't get stuck there, just gum up the collection bin.
