I bought one for $60 from Direct Tool Oultet. I was surprised by how good of a saw it is. Definitely worth $85 if you are in the market.

This saw has the super cumbersome safety switch. I bought this thing tried to use it for a project before returning it. The new brushless version has a much better switch.

I have one and use it on a job site. The disk brake is a must on these saws. Every Dewalt owner that tries it, likes it.

I believe HD in store clearance and price drops are huge YMMV. That's certainly my experience in Hawaii.

Maybe more a nicety than a must. The Mexican framers I used to work along side had no brakes and no guards. They sit their saws down upside down, because they didn't want to wait for it to stop spinning. No

This is the link to the new one: https://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGI.../315979537

I think it is included in the bogo deal for the holidays. It has an say to use push button safety where the old ones had this awkward switch you had to flip.

What do you guys think of this ryobi compared to the ridgid from this deal: https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI...WB29573254

I picked up the hammer drill and circular saw deal but now I'm debating driving a couple towns over to see if a home depot has this ridgid
