All I can say in my experience is that Logitech switches fail after a couple years always. I stopped buying Logitech products a couple years back and since then no failed switches ever

May I ask if you're wireless, and if so what brand you prefer now?

I miss the Logitech touchpad. The K830 and TK variants were things of beauty for nvidia shield and android tvs.
Logitech screwed up when discontinuing those models.

I went through several Logitech mice and trackballs and keyboards, for trackball I am happy with Kensington and for the keyboards anything with cherry MX or equivalent switches

I'm still pretty happy with Logitech, barring one HUGE complaint - their bollocks won't-stay-on backlighting they've been shoving down our throats for the last decade is hot garbage. Other than that I've never had an issue with their keyboards (that wasn't actually my fault).

I have several K375s that've been rock solid for a several years now, and the MX Keys is quite possibly my favorite non-mechanical board ever. Hell, I've still got some ancient K750s that still work flawlessly now that I think about it. The argument that "Logitech switches fail after a couple years always" is...highly subjective.

Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place, but I don't see anything comparable on Amazon.

I really like this keyboard, and so far Logitech seems to be a few company able to make a *reliable* *wireless* mechanical keyboard. I've tried Keychron and few others, but they all seem to have difficulty reliably (and quickly) going to sleep and waking back up or suck through battery very quickly.

I can always rely on my MX Mechanical Mini to respond right away just like my MX Keys Mini, no need to wait a couple seconds or power-cycle. Keychron K3 is now purely a wired keyboard for me and for all else one of the MX-es.

For the price, I would recommend the Cosair K70 Cherry MX Speed. Not sure if they are of the same Cherry MX speed but they have very similar typing experience. I have brought two to use at home, such as great/nice made keyboard. Definitely beat the build of this keyboard.

Just checked the Cosair K70 is not available but Cosair K60 is sold at $50 at Amazon. For this price and 90 days return policy, it is a great option to try: https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Pr...14&sr=8-11

FYI for those that have employee discounts, workingadvantage.com through my employer gives 25% off Logitech. I would Imagine similar EPP websites offer the same discount.

Trying to decide between the MX Keys and the MX Mechanical myself. Will prob go with the cheaper MX Keys as I've been typing on Thinkpad laptops and the Thinkpad Bluetooth keyboard for years now.

This is wire version. I am using the K70 for my M1 Mac. NOTE: it has known issue for FileVault in Intel Mac Book Pro.
