I read through the official product guide on download.com and it does not say a thing about joinability, so I'm guessing 99%+ chance "no". Almost ceratian they would have mentioned it if it were a feature. Can't guarantee 100%, but I wouldn't place any bets.

I bought two different govee led strips in the past and for some reason they do not last long. Both died in less than a year.

The 2m Merkury smart one is $6 at Walmart right now and RGB+warm white. Both Tuya based.

Bought one last week too, doesn't say on the box. But they are pretty bright in the white's mode. Color not as bright, but still nice.

Didn't see the lumens. Importantly though these have dedicated white LED's so much better than rgb leds.
