Looked like a good gap filler gift, but the reviews are "doesn't work" and "if you open a container of ice cream you are legally obligated to eat all of it at once so this is great." Can't trust either side so pass and hope for other inspiration.

Yup, I don't believe something so inexpensive could make a nice firm ice cream. Skipping this one.

There are tons of reviews online on YouTube so go see for yourself it looks like you have to have the mixture really cold and even then you're not going to get hard ice cream people it's going to be soft serve

I have this and I've made dole whip in it- it absolutely needs the liquid to be extra cold and extra chilling time but it works in a pinch
