I have this mouse currently and love it. I've had it roughly three years now with no issues. I am considering buying another for back up purposes.

To each their own but this wasn't the mouse for me. This thing is super heavy compared to the competition and I found myself getting nerve fatigue playing on it. I switched to a much lighter CoolerMaster MM710 and hasn't had nerve pain since. H

Hero weight is a crazy 115 grams where the mouse I use now is 53 grams.

I highly suggest looking up RocketNinjaJump's website as it's the best resource for finding the perfect mouse for your hand type and play style.

Software is horrendous on Macs, about once a week it'll update or reset and delete all my macros, when it works it's fantastic but I have to spend about 20 minutes changing the settings back every week, support was no help with this known issue

+1 for G Hub issues on MacOS. I've switched to configuring my mouse's on-board profile (on my Windows machine) and have stopped using their trash software entirely.

Ordered this for a gift but after looking at the reviews it can suffer from ghost clicks like my G602. Also holding down right click or click drag issues. I ended up grabbing a steel series rival 600 for $40, similar discount and button layout.

At sub $30 it's hard to find a better mouse than the G502. I own one of these but prefer the Razor Basilisk v3 which is the exact same body type but the scroll wheel is a lot better both functionally and how it feels under the finger. The feel of the grips etc. feels better to me as well but that's purely a preference. If you're a hardcore lover of the 502 and money isn't a huge issue then you might want to check it out. I think I paid $50 but I'm not sure what the typical price is. It's just one of those gaming pieces I've found to be good enough that I proselytize about it.If you have to watch your pennies then it's hard to find anything that even remotely competes with the G502 though.

Is this the same scrollwheel as the G502 lightspeed? Because that's what I have and it's driving me absolutely nuts. It's always squeaking when scrolling down, and the free scroll is basically useless since it's so sensitive it's always scrolling up or down when I don't want it to. I'm about ready to replace it already.

It always gets raved about but at this point I liked my G402 a lot more. The scroll wheel was even a lot quieter on the G402 which I liked.
