Please, does anyone know how I can use this in MacBook Pro 2014?
You'd have to get an external enclosure and use it over Thunderbolt or USB

To get it cheaper (YMMV):
Chase has 5% back on dell

better yet: use paypal deals for 4% cash back + chase freedom paypal 5%cash-back category

even better: use up dell reward & egift cards from previous deals & use Chase 5% back on dell

I got it for $12.08 after taxes
This is the chosen one the ancient slickdeal texts spoke of

Would it make sense to get this and do a fresh Windows install on this instead of my existing 970 EVO? Also, thinking I would move this one to primary M.2 slot (the direct one?) instead of the 970 EVO?

Just trying to avoid a back up and format here since I'm due a fresh windows install haha
The Evo should have dram and imo should be your main OS drive if you can slot 2 m.2 drives. Yeah a fresh format is better if they aren't identical drives and faster than a clone or backup provided your data is expendable.

Hmm with the rapid dropping SSD price, I am wondering will 1TB soon become a waste of a precious m.2 slot?
That's when you start getting RPi CM4's and using them in a NAS storage Wink

I honestly have no idea how dell honors things, but I did in store pickup so I can get it tomorrow anyway and if Dell ships I will have another to use in an external enclosure.
Ah makes sense. One other question - my Dell G15 5520 storage specs are: M.2 2280 solid-state drive PCIe Gen4 x4 NVMe

Will this drive work in my machine? Sorry I'm a noob!

I ended up buying 5 to hit the $40 off 200 AMEX offer. All told its around $32/TB after tax for me which is pretty crazy.

Best Buy took forever to price match. Kept saying they had to check again over and over. Now it is out of stock lol.
