I got the i9 3070ti version of this off an Amazon price mistake, and although it is insanely fast, it's loud AF under load and feels cheap as hell

I mean, it's a beast and a half, easily as fast as any gaming laptop out there. Equals/sometimes exceeds my newly built desktop i5-12600k and 6700XT in benchmakrks and fps.

If you can handle the fan noise and the cheap build quality, it's very good. I would use it as a desktop replacement, but the fan noise is so irritating. I'm trying to figure out how to live with it as it is utterly perfect for me otherwise. Thunderbolt, tons of ports, good keybaord and mouse.

It's a nice desktop replacement, but you think it will have thermal issues being docked all day with the laptop lid closed? The fan noise would drive me nuts

Awesome to hear, I don't think fan noise and build quality will bother me too much. My current 5 year old gaming laptop is already pretty loud as is. I'm mostly worried about just performance. That's great to hear everything else about it is positive for you tho! I can't wait for it to arrive in the mail.
