Costco has price matched and is throwing in Allstate 3 year protection for a total of 5 year's coverage (if you're a member).

Inflation and job loss has really taken a toll on discretionary spending. Aggressive price cuts are the only way to clear out stock and make numbers for the holiday quarter.

For the overall shipment process and in case if you need to do a return of the oled tv, whose better Amazon or best buy?

Also does the 10% cashback still apply for Amazon credit card if u sign up now or that was a black Friday onky promotion?

Damn, this is tempting. With the 10% prime card cash back, it's like $720 only before tax or this great oled tv but I will be using mostly as a monitor for productivity instead of gaming. I think while it's a great gaming Tv, it's actually not so great as a computer monitor.

How are you getting 10% cash back from the prime card?

It shows on the product page:
"Get 10% back on amount charged to an Amazon Prime credit card."

Looks like the whole line has been marked back down to the early Black Friday pricing across retailers. Any experience with Costco vs. Best Buy warranty. Costco's is longer (5 year) but I hear it doesn't cover cracks or burn-in. Is Best Buy's any better?

Really slick w/ 10% from prime card. Bought used, like new in unopened original box for another $50 off. Honestly unsure how much lower these can go realistically unless refurb. My 48 c1 refurb I got from BuyDig in the past was $750.

Best Buy's warranty is an additional 179.99 for the 5 year coverage or 129.99 for 3 year coverage but does cover accidental and burn in damage.

I'm really curious why these keep dropping to seemingly such aggressive numbers.
4k/240hz at CES JAN 2023?

Is there even a point to them manufacturing that as Xbox is capped at 4k/120hz until a next gen? Only market would be monitor users, and OLED monitors are already coming soon/here now.

I would trade my 48 C1 for this. While I do enjoy my 48 C1. I feel it is still *slightly* too big. The 42 would be perfect.

C2 didn't offer much improvements compared to last year's C1, and the Samsung QD-OLED panel has surpassed the LG WOLED panels in performance (though have heard some grumblings about Samsung's QC/reliability as the S95b is the 1st iteration)

Didn't think this monitor would drop this fast. I got it for around $930 stacking multiple discounts when it was still $1,200 and I thought I made out like a bandit.
