Don't listen to these dorks, this is a hell of a deal.

I burn wood for smoking game and heat and while I could start a fire with sunlight I'm not out here trying to prove anything to anyone, especially at this price.

All I'm seeing is 1.5 lb for $20. This looks like a great deal for today unless there is a better deal hiding out there, admit I only gave it 1 minute of Google searching.
Love these for my suburban living ass, add these to the pile of sticks my maple tree dumps every week and the fire starts quick! Bonus flair if you light it with a blow torch.
My pro tip, I break up my fire starters into smaller pieces, just enough to sustain the fire until the wood catches. One of those firestarter logs lasted me 20 or so fires - hacksaw teeth help with cutting.

Its a good deal on a $/lb basis, worth trying the 5 lb box if you have not tried fatwood before.......nice starter size. Stuff works great, I use it for camping and split it into pieces so it goes further. I keep some dry fatwood tinder split into small pieces in a bag in my backpack for tinder, comes in handy for starting wet twigs. Going to try it on my patio Solo Stove firepit.

These are in the woods...for free. If I had to buy these, I'd kick my own ass.
Wrong. You still need tinder. These combine both for a simple solution to get a fire going. As an Eagle Scout I can get a fire going with almost nothing but when I want a quick fire in the fireplace at home, these are great. Especially since we don't subscribe to a newspaper anymore, I never have any tinder available.

These are fantastic if you just have occasional fires or don't mind the price of convenience.

(I'm too much of a cheapskate so I stick with egg cartons, twigs and split kindling)

These are pretty good but connivence of dura flame is hard to beat imo. You can bust chunks off to start your fire so the 6 log for $23 bucks last me forever. That being said still buying these for my mini solo stove, ha.
