Hey, I have the fix, I post it in most Samsung threads. Disable the Samsung Live TV app, and it makes it a lot smoother, not quite perfect, but 90% of the way there.

Want to pull the trigger
But debating if should hold out for QN90B
Can anyone say if 90B is that much worth it, price is amazing and I'm upgrading from an old RU7100
Main needs are reflection handling
The 2022 QN85B no longer has the great reflection coating that its predecessor, the 2021 QN85A, had. The 2022 QN90B still has the same great reflection handling that its predecessor, the 2021 QN90A, had.

Do you have a li k to that one for $1500?

I was thinking of the secondipity sony 77" oled for $1600

I would take the OLED over both of them though, since it doesn't sound like you necessarily need the extra size. The 85 inch QN85B is the sweet spot of size, picture quality, and price (out of the big brands), but that hasn't dropped to under $2,000 yet.

i just received my QN90B. The shitty risen OS lags a lot! There are too many preinstalled app and ad in the TV. $2k TV has bloated ads

This one is the IPS version, so not very close. The 85 inch VA panel looks amazing, was very tempted to dump my smaller OLED to get it. If you can handle the size, the 85 inch Q80B for $1,500 has the VA panel, so I'd prefer that picture quality wise.
so you recommend getting a Q80B 85 inch instead of 75 inch QN85B which is for 1250? what about the mini led that comes with QN85B which is not for Q80B, does it not make much difference?

Absolutely, if you look at Rtings, high end VA panels tend to score between 8.5-9 for Contrast (Oled is of course 10), and even the best IPS with mini led here scores a 7. QN85B is certainly brighter and more colorful, but you lose too much from the contrast difference. Mini led with a VA panel is amazing though, so I think it's worth waiting for a 85 inch QN85B deal.

Thank you, I will try it out. Also, the shutdown effect looks shitty to my eyes. Is it possible to disable it?

85" is the sweet spot? Maybe for you, but according to retail sales reports, 65" is the highest selling TV size.

No. The 50 and 85 inch are the only models with the better panel is what I was saying.

Consider buying the 4K Roku at Walmart for $16.00 and your problem is solved

I signed up for their EDU account but can't find the log in. I had a prior regular account. I asked them for help to no avail. How do you sign in to the EDU account? Thanks!

You are right, it's gone. The price of 1250 was very good considering that even Costco ( I consider Costco prices are very reasonable) sells it for 1800. Also, the black Friday EPP price was 1640 at Samsung.com. I have requested a price match and since I captured the screenshot hope there will not be a fuss around the price match.
