Don't bother with this offer. I did this same offer during November. It took nearly a month for the card to show up and there's no tracking

On top of that, I never got the $10 and there's no customer service for it. I reached out twice to a possible support email and haven't heard back

Went to order, selected physical cards and total at end didn't reflect the discount. I backed out of the purchase (ordered 4 $50 cards). Perhaps I would have been charged only $160.

Get the digital card. I receive it in my email within a few minutes after purchase and loaded it into my amc account no problem

Worked with no issues. Purchased $100 digital gift card for $80 and immediately received code in email within seconds. Copy/pasted code to AMC app. Also got a popup on the app advertising this deal.

Tried to redeem within the app, but getting an error saying: "We're sorry, but this gift card cannot be redeemed online. Please bring it into the theatre to redeem."

Anyone else get this and found a way to add it to the AMC app?

Did you try adding it through the website? I had no problem adding gift card that way.

Note: physical cards no discount . I placed an order noticed $50 charged in my card instead of $40. Spoke with customer service agent and confirmed this "no discount for physical cards" . I cancelled the order..

sure. Avatar 2 is booked at my theatre. unless you can afford a full Dolby Atmos setup and home theatre system , I am quite happy with the experience I get in theatres. I spend about $38 for 2 people I think usually for the matinee's on the weekend which is great because we love going in the morning so we have the rest of the day. If you like movies and appreciate film in general or just the experience of the theatre then it's very much still a thing.

The problem is, you need to spend this soon. AMC's competitors are all bankrupt, AMC would already be bankrupt if not for a recent meme-fueled trading frenzy which has now burst, and there are very recent reports that AMC's creditors are now organizing in preparation for a bankruptcy. They will likely make it through the holiday season, but I wouldn't be buying this for much further in the future.
