It's a budget computer and the parts reflect it. If you're never going upgrade or repair the computer, it's still a very good value.
Here are some of the problems for me.
- CPU fan is 100mm. Looks about as cheap as they come.
- Only other fan is the one inside the power supply and a rear 120mm fan. Also extremely cheap.
While these fans will do the job, they are likely to be very noisy or fail after a short time when they get dirty.
- 3 extra sata ports.1 has a cable attached, other 2 has no cables. While there are two open sata ports, there does not appear to be any extra sata power cables so you may not be able to power them unless you buy something to daisy chain off the one supplied.
- Only one open power connector. Not sure what it's for but doubt it'll power a standard gpu.
- While there are two m.2 slots, only one is a 2280 occupied by the 500 gb Hynix SSD. This is a PCI-e 3.0 drive. The other m.2 slot is occupied by the wlan/BT adapter and is will not fit a 2280 SSD.

- There is only one expansion slot and it's a PCIe x1. Even if you wanted to put in a PCIe x4 card in there, it will not physically fit as the m.2 ssd drive will be in the way.
- GPU has 3 DP and 1 HDMI. If you want to power multiple desktop monitors and use the HDMI for a TV, you'll need to buy a DP to HDMI adapter for about $7 each as most cheap monitors only come with HDMI.

Custom non-standard case, power supply, and motherboard. None of which can be easily repaired or upgraded.
Edit: Costco version is 2 years warranty from HP. 2 additional years from Citi with Costco Citi card. 90 days return window.
Non members pay a $50 surcharge.
There's a discrete graphics card included, so no need for the "G" model of the 5700 (G has onboard graphics). The G model has onboard graphics in exchange for half the processor cache, slowing down the performance.
Would have made much more sense for HP to put an "X" in here instead of the "G" since the G is redundant and lowers performance for same price.
Here's a gaming video comparing the two in 10 games.

PS: The 5700G only supports PCIE gen 3. The 6600XT is a PCIE gen 4 card, so you'll not get the full performance out of the card. Whether that be a little less or a lot less performance... Depending on the game.
