There are a lot of brands on amazon with nearly identical products for the same price.

I've tried the apple magic keyboard, Logitech combo touch, and a few different versions of the off-brand blue tooth apple magic keyboard.

The Bluetooth trackpads, aside from the apple magic trackpad, all seem to work mostly but all a little quirky. Random unresponsiveness sometimes. For the price could not be a deal breaker but not as good and responsive experience as the setups that use the smart connector.

No preference between them? Especially at a price to value perspective

I've ultimately landed on the Logitech combo touch. The trackpad and keyboard are as good as the magic keyboard but overall checks off more boxes in the functionality category.

But since I've been working remotely I often use my iPad as a 2nd monitor if not with universal control and find myself carrying 2 keyboards with me. The Logitech combo keyboard and Bluetooth keyboard.

I'm considering getting something like the following keyboard and using that Bluetooth keyboard to control both my MacBook and iPad.

Even I usually use a mouse anyhow so the trackpad will be extra. If it works fine that'll be icing on the cake.
